Thanks for admitting you were wrong:thumbup:

You called me out and said he turned down £120 mil for 1 fight, now he’s turned it down for $40mil per fight. Totally different universe, and when you consider other contractual obligations I don’t think Wilder will regret it one bit. Btw he got £28mil after tax and all payments for fighting Fury, I think he’ll live. You don’t need to believe me but I believe my source as it wasn’t a media parade he had no reason to lie to me at a boxing function. You might think I know nothing about boxing, but I think you’d be surprised. We’ll leave it there as the goal posts have already changed so much it’s in danger of becoming a cougar style debate.

    Yeah mate.

Joshua has 3 out of the 4 belt in the division, has made numerous mandatory defenses against top 10 opposition but is fighting nobodies

Usyk has had one fight at Heavyweight but somehow has a better Heavyweight record than Joshua.

Joshua taking the safe options but no one outside of Fury has a record that definitively better. (Only rival, and you were wrong on that too)

Team AJ offered Wilder a ridiculous amount of money on several occasions but team definitely DON’T want the fight, despite making offer after offer.

Deny the facts, nit pick on pointless things and ignore the wider point. Yep, definitely a Cougar style debate but it seems to be coming from your end.

I’ll stick to cricket, you go do ping pong or something. Also, I never said it was for one fight but whatever floats your boat.

You asked for evidence for the 100M offer and I gave you it. I think we know why you haven’t addressed any of the other points I’ve made- because you have nothing. If it makes you feel better though the current undisputed has beaten nobodies apart from the 2 guys you were hyping up, always has safe fights even though he fights mandatories and he definitely didn’t want the Wilder fight even though 4 offers went in and Wilder’s manager himself admitted the AJ fight wasn’t on the agenda ( in which I’m more than happy to show you evidence for). Usyk, a career cruiser weight (a fantastic one as well I may add) also has a record that rivals Joshua’s because of his win over Chaz Witherspoon, as do Ruiz and Whyte even though the history books show that they haven’t beaten better ranked opposition. Not only this, but Eddie Hearn is a greedy con man whereas Frank Warren (who you seemed to imply was a credible source?) is none of that sort despite being involved in several legal disputes with his fighters.

    Fk me.

Never in my whole life have I seen anyone talk so much rubbish. You’ll ignore all of your inaccuracies just to nit pick an offer which for the record definitely was real.

You don’t have a clue. Please don’t take me in future posts with nonsense. I didn’t address your other points because I was focusing on the post you actually tagged me in which you were totally wrong and your own evidence backed it up. You must have some major problem bringing stuff I said a year or more ago up even remembering it for a matter of fact.

Your claim was that Joshua didn’t want the Wilder fight. Iv’e used 4 offers from team AJ as evidence including the 100M offer to disprove this claim. I can also send you a link to Wilder’s manager admitting he didn’t want the fight or will that not be good enough for you either?

    Watch this:

IYou’ll see A) just how protected Wilder is and a large part of the reason why he and so many other PBC fighters avoid big fights and B) that Joshua has fought a good level of opposition.

My OP wasn’t meant to be taken this seriously. Just a bit of old fashioned point scoring which you also did after AJ’s defeat to Ruiz did you not? If you just took it on the chin rather talking so much rubbish we weren’t even be having this discussion. Before you misconstrue anything, I’m not saying AJ’s the best Heavyweight in the world or won’t lose again. I’m simply giving him credit for fighting top opposition and telling you what every man and his dog already know which is that he wanted the Wilder fight. He was practically begging for it but you’ll believe what you want to believe I guess.

I honestly don’t remember what I put after his fight with Ruiz, I didn’t even watch the fight as I wasn’t in the country at the time. But at least you’ve admitted you were on the wind up, try get the figures right first time and it wouldn’t have taken so long to get to this stage:thumbup:

Getting away from the tit for tat squabbling I do actually agree with you that Wilder will now regret not accepting the match with AJ now even if the terms were unfair in terms of percentage splits, however not for what you think I.e financially. Maybe he thought he had a better chance of beating Fury but after seeing AJ humiliated in American then getting hammered to Fury he wouldn’t be human if he didn’t think what might have been, but it’s hindsight thinking. I doubt he regrets it from a financial aspect as for the two Fury fights he’s now worth around $100 mil and set for life. But he’ll probably always wonder if he’d swallowed his pride and accepted the 20% cut he could now be unified champion instead of has been.

What cut is this? Wilder got 10M to fight Breazeale:

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/deontay-wilder-vs-dominic-breazeale-16167890.amp

And a guarantee of $4M for the first Fury fight (Official figures published by the state athletic commission). Not sure what his final sum was but it’s not usually a million miles away from the guaranteed purse, so just how much did he get paid for the 2nd Fury fight to earn more than the $100M DAZN were offering him across his last 3 fights?

Besides, Wilder’s team didn’t even try to negotiate that €100M figure from DAZN. It was their opening offer and Wilder’s manager wanted no part of it. In fact, one of his promoters was sacked for trying to set up the fight:

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/talksport.com/sport/boxing/662447/boxing-news-deontay-wilder-lou-dibella-dazn-anthony-joshua/amp/

This is what we’re dealing with here but you’re not having it. We’ve seen nothing but excuse after excuse after excuse for nearly 3years from team Wilder. Said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m glad Fury handed his arse to him. Wilder, his promoters and Al Haymon are terrible for boxing. You should see the PBC’s treatment of Terrence Crawford which is nothing but a disgrace. Undisputed champion but they refuse to acknowledge him as one and are completely freezing him out to sabotage his career.

Wilder needs to get a new team around him because he’s been badly advised, not just through the whole AJ saga but throughout his entire career. Don’t think I can remember a fighter who has been as badly mismanaged as Deontay Wilder.

Atleast it’s over with now though. We now have half a chance of seeing the AJ/Fury fight. I’ll be surprised if both fighters didn’t want it. 2 warriors who back up their talk in the ring. It’s just a case of whether the promoters can put their ego’s to one side and reach a deal although I wouldn’t hold my breath. Too many fights in boxing don’t get made for this reason, with atleast 1, if not both sides accountable but we’ll see. It’ll be the biggest British clash since Benn/Eubank and will smash all PPV records.

I wouldn’t go getting carried away for a Fury Joshua fight, not in the immediate future anyway. Fury has a 5 match contract to fight in Vegas and there is still a chance of a rematch with Wilder if they fancy another pay day. But that will depend on if Wilder fancies another beating for one last pay day.

I’ve just read his excuse on the BBC, have to say it’s the most bizarre thing I’ve ever heard. And I used to think Haye’s bad toe was a bad excuse, but this is next level.
