Yeah, I think I mentioned that. He thought he was above the law, he knew her age, and was stupid to carry on regardless. The trial of his co defendant is interesting, because we don't know if it was the same girl, or another one. I'd like to think (hope) that it wasn't the same girl (although not wishing anything on anyone else), but you never know these days (Ched Evans and his mate).

 

I honestly am not surprised that he plead guilty. When the club sacked him I thought he must have told them he was guilty otherwise they were taking a gamble

Your making excuses for peadophilia, when there is none, EVER!..The young girl takes absolutely no responsibility, she’s 14. The responsibility is all Tyrell’s. Luckily the courts will see it that way too.

The age of sexual consent in Estonia is 14, plus a lot of other European countries too, So if this happened over here, he wouldn’t be a pedophile. Explain that. How can one be a “pervert” in one country, but not in another?

I can't believe some of these comments! He's pleaded guilty he seemingly knew her age, she was a child. It was the wrong thing to do and he must have known it, he broke the law and he's now going to pay for his crime.

I would feel very uncomfortable living in a society where the age of consent was 14, I don't give a toss what it is in Estonia. You need to abide by the laws of the country you live in.

 

Clearly some countries still have backward, regressive laws. Thank god my family doesn't live in Estonia.

Robinson is bang to rights. He's going to be deserving of what comes his way, which should absolutely be a custodial sentence.

 

The judge obviously isn’t definite about a custodial sentence otherwise he wouldn’t have granted bail. Did it say when he was due back for sentencing

 

At least he pleaded guilty which would have spared his victim a court case if his mate hadn’t denied it
