That’ll never happen unless PL players accept that their contracts can be reduced or terminated in the event of relegation….and that’s never gonna happen either.

Most would be fine with their contracts being terminated IMHO. A PL level player is unlikely to lack people teams who would sign them unless there is a major injury issue with them. And a free agent usually gets improved contract terms because some of what they would have spent on the transfer fee goes to the player. It's the clubs who don't like terminating contracts because they want that transfer fee

I would watch all the games via iFollow if I could, I work 2 Saturdays out of 3 and I live down south so I can’t really ever get to games bar a few each season. At the moment I make do with the commentary.

    Its a yes from me.

its not hard to find a bloke selling a firestick with illegal access to ifollow. Clubs dont see a penny.

Legalise it, let the clubs see the money, and not the piracy mob.

some would rather pay the tenner for aways even if it costs more than a firestick

Even if it was legal there would still be the tramps who want it free on a fire stick with Chinese commentary.

I'd definitely pay a tenner... it's cheaper than flying to the Maldives every week...;)

I've heard the arguments against screening all games, but it's 2021 and those arguments are basically waffle and conjecture with no hard basis in reality. Football fans will go to stadiums, it doesn't matter where else they might be able to watch the match, if they can get to the event and watch it live, they will.

Same with any event/spectacle - if there's an option of watching an edited programme from home or go and enjoy the live atmosphere and event, only people that don't really care are going to sit home and watch on TV.

Meanwhile, if you open up the possibility of watching every game to everyone, there's no question in my mind that more people will watch more games of football and that ultimately is what it's all about.

Bums on plastics seats or arses on couches, it can all be monetised, more money = better product.

You look at this Exeter game on Tuesday, about 70 people are going to go. I know it's not a league match, but if you could watch from home, I'm sure most of those 70 diehards will still go, and potentially thousands would pay a couple of quid to watch on a screen.

All of the arguments against showing all games, in my personal opinion, is just second-hand hand wringing from bureaucrats who have vocalised their own personal worries about this, that or the other.

Do you want to watch football? If the answer is yes, make it possible, even to those that can't get there. Why anyone wouldn't open the floodgates is beyond me, and I've never had a straight forward argument for why you wouldn't.

Its rubbish, saying fans would stay away sure, some would, but look at the televised matches on sky there's thousands of fans watching, fans will always go and watch their team, but sometimes you can't, and it's good to have Ifollow as back up. I miss one or two night matches during very cold weather, and its great to watch the match at home ( not every match I might add) I can't in all honesty see a problem with live matches being televised

It's a matter of opinions of course but I think it would be a disaster.
