I'll try and make it easy for you to understand.
" Look at Ole, Klopp and Pep. Took them years to mould the teams into decent sides."
I merely pointed that that in Pep's case you were totally wrong.
However don't let me stop you posting these insights, it serves to amuse many I'm sure in these troubled times

So basically after that rather long diatrabe you agree that he'd have got an interview. OK, thanks.

Depends what you class as a poor spell and the possible reason why we went tits up after winning away at Fleetwood on January 1st, as I posted he had us top 4 all season up till that period, the reason he was not given more time was because of our owners, yes I believe Stefan was conned, but you have your opinion and I disagree.
Mates act they downed tools at the Yeovil game, hardly something mates do.

It took him 3 years at man city. Youve said nothing about klopp nor ole either. If i had said at barca it took him years to mold them fair. But i didn't, so how am i wrong?
Also trying to be condescending whilst not even answering my question is a childish move.

Again, did he do it at man city?

    he job
    (Rolling eyes)

It's a ridiculous question. I might as well say Alex Ferguson for all the relevance it has. you are simply trying to deflect from the underlying issue....does McCalls recent and long term management resume warrant a third go round at Bradford City?

But.....sigh....I did respond to another who asked this.

My response was that we should have been interviewing and asking for applications, we didn't, why?

But to give you at least one name to satisfy your need Nathan Jones. Great at Luton (with a 51.8% win record 'cos I know you love those win percentage stats), bad spell at Stoke, has gone back to Luton and saved them from relegation (with a 44.4% win percentage :) ). Hi sresume is at least the equal of McCall and he has a promotion under his belt at his first management appointment.

Having many friends in Luton who are season ticket holders they admit they didn't want him back but he has been the difference, he has taken a team odds on for relegation and galvanised them.

So I am not saying he would have worked, that he would have even come, but we didn't even speak to him.

He was available at the time. Why didn't we even approach him? We didn't...we went with a lazy, lazy, lazy option.

Yes McCall could succeed this time but as the old saying goes even a broken clock is right twice a day.

    That' enough...

In return can you argue against my point that any other name at the top of a resume like McCalls and we would have been in uproar if they had been appointed without interviewing anyone else. Convince me that we would not have looked at it as lacking ambition and was just a cheap appointment designed to save money.

I yield the floor to BL.

In fact what I actually said was '..he might get in for an interview, big might but that's it.'. If you are going to make a statement on what I said get it right.

I am not getting into a disagreement about it he took over a team with s good base and we payed decent money at Christmas for Wyke so he was backed the first year.the second year he showed his failing of being to close to the players yes there was upheaval about but it’s the managers job to separate from that not identify with it. As I say it’s water under the bridge a fresh start

What’s happening on the transfer front no rumours about at the moment I wonder if that’s because any more signings will be loans. Wonder if Vaughan has settled back in was he to leave it would be a big blow to stuart

Which bit of "I merely pointed that that in Pep's case you were totally wrong" didn't you understand?
And the three years at City? I'm assuming that winning in his second season with a 100 points doesn't count in your world.

Yeah, the transfer rumour front seems to have gone to the quietest point it's been at all summer. I think the fact it sounds like one of the priorities is another forward but we can't really get one in until we ship one out probably isn't helping - still pretty surprised we don't seem to be closer to solving the right back issue so far but plenty of time yet I suppose.

    Sutton could be the right.

Ignore what Sutton says it's up to McCall and he isn't good enough to be demanding where to play.

If he wants to get into the team then RB might be his best shout.

You asked @Feats Don't Fail Me Now@Feats Don't Fail Me Now a stupid and utter pointless question. No shock he hasn't answered it.

Aye, but i'd be disappointed if we went into the season with no specialist right back and only one player who's particularly adept at covering there - we'd be desperately short. We definitely need at least one player who's primary position is right back (or wing back, if that's the route we decide to go down)

Same mate. I do think we need another RB but maybe McCall wants Sutton at RB because I would have thought one would have been in by now. Get your back 3-4-or 5 settled ASAP is a golden rule.

On the subject of a right back, got a feeling the one we are after probably been chased by other clubs hence the delay.
Players out of contract can take their pick of employer, the only thing we don't want is a mercenary so if that's the case I'm sure we will move on which Stuart as eluded too over the last few week.

OK last comment to your reply, to say he got backed the first season because we signed Wyke is a little unfair, if we had kept Hanson and also got Wyke there would have been no argument but come on basically it was Hanson to the Blades for £250,000 and Charlie Wyke to us for similar money, Rahic must think fans are stupid quoting at a forum "we didn't get the Hanson fee in one go", no sh!t Mr I know football of course not, neither did you pay the full £250,000 to Carlisle at one go, laughable for a man of his standing.
Now lets talk about his backing after taking us to Wembley, no mate he was hung out to dry and most recognise that players not retained who he said he wanted but because in McArdles case he was 30+ the owner would not back the managers judgement, I wonder why ?.

With all due respect, Broncs, it wasn't obvious that you were comparing like for like from what you actually wrote, but you're the last person on here I would want to upset. So, if I have, I profoundly apologise.
