I honestly can't answer that with any meaningful facts. Only my instincts.
Next season will tell, no matter who he plays for.
Signing any player is a gamble, but some are riskier than others, that's all.

I tend to agree with @NorthernMonkey@NorthernMonkey on this one Ronnie, at 35 years old and knowing where we are in footballing terms, I cant see him demanding a huge chunk in wages. Hes in his last seasons granted but i think what hed bring in terms of experience and footballing nouse would surely benefit us on and off the pitch. The Hamilton fans tweeting last night are sorry to see him go and still say hes still solid at the back.

As you rightly pointed out, hes never really relied on pace, his strength is his footballing brain, therefore L2 should be the best place for him to ply his trade for his remaining years. In addition, if he acts as an example for the younger defenders youd like to think we'd be targeting, it's a no brainer for me. It of all of the old heads weve been linked with again, hes the one I'd most like to see return.

No real disagreement in those terms T E. However, much as he would be welcome both in the changing rooms and on the Terraces - The cloggers in Lge 2 would simply find and explore his weaknesses, IMO.

I’d only be interested if his missus had the tendency to bend over whilst reaching for the Cajun spice from the lowest possible shelf.

judging by the very deliberate wording of Killa's tweet I reckon he's got some form of coaching role lined up. maybe combined with playing, as he is still only 35. I'd be pleased if it was with us, but I can't see it.

The surplus budget to sign new players is currently about £1 million. The 16 contracted players account for a further £1.6 million, however if some leave, then that will create additional cash for new signings. Not saying it it would be exactly the same ratio as we have some very high earners now we are in League Two. However that should allow the club to bring in ten plus new players who average comparable wages. A squad of around 26-30 players, for next season, reducing the numbers but focusing on mentality, team players in addition to skill sets, is probably what we are looking for.

26-30 is still way to many imo. A squad of about 20-22 on more quality less quantity with 2-3 of our best youngsters fighting for a place in the squad imo.

An insight into the integrity and attitude of player who we have just signed as opposed to last season speaks volumes.

Sounds like you’ve got a little obsession of your own, if you’re counting ‘em.

I was taking the piss more than anything, I took 10 as a random figure but I don't see that much of what you're talking about on twitter? You get the odd few but that's it.

what I don't really understand is why you feel the need to use the word obsessed in a derogatory way, as if you are somehow above all those with a different opinion on this matter to you.

between that and this post it's quite confrontational.

you don't want Colin Doyle back....many others do. its just an opinion. and you can't blame people for engaging with his wife on twitter when she's posting hints it might happen.
