If Fc Fylde don’t get promoted this season I would reckon Danny Rowe would move given the chance to play in league 2. He’s scored 26 so far this season and he’s scored about the same for the past few. He will be 30 this year so will want to give it a go before it’s to late.

Ive always said Danny Rowe. Love him as a non league player, seen him play a fair few times, definitely worth a shot.

What a pointless thread this is
    We will be treated to
We have identified our players early for next season so can hit the ground running
The chairman is going to back the manager to get these players
His medical didn't go through in time
He didn't fancy coming to a L2 side
We almost had him bought him a pizza as well
His present club couldn't sign a replacement in time
His girlfriend didn't like the area
They don't take too much thinking about
It HAS to be different this time

I expect we will see new faces that we haven’t seen playing before. However, comforting it is to see James Hanson and Rory McArdle back at VP, we need better. We need to build a team not just for LG2 but also for LG 1.

    Good Point
Are we really that forward a thinking club tho
    Paying L1 players wages in L 2 !!!!!!!!
Have we suddenly won the Euromillions
Don't forget 13k our season tickets equates to only 5.5k normal season tickets
We need to get out L2 first time at all costs ( and the right way)
However I can't see us paying the wages to start with or handing out the contracts (enough already)
But until we receive a statement of intent from the board
    We can only dream

Yes of course we need to get out of league 2 sooner rather than later. Look at Luton and Coventry, they didn’t get out by settling for LG 2 players, they bought really well from all over the leagues. We have to think forward, if we go into ‘we have to buy players that will get us out of this league mode’ I think we will fail. We have to think forward, isn’t that what most successful business ppl do?

Has had a good season there but at 27 should he not have had more than 1 good season?

Whoever signs I think Bowyer has to ensure that the group mix with each other properly. Remember up until the Xmas party there were comments from squad members that it was the first time they’d socialised together. Bowyer needs to build a team of players contracted to BCFC, not be a development team for some tin pot rival. It’s blatantly obvious a lot of the players don’t like each other and one player in particular has managed to piss off 3 different managers this season with his “I’m bigger than Bradford City” attitude. Sign players who are interested in football, not ones that brag about the new super car they’ve bought and how many birds he’s pulled this week.

    ***WINNER***

There was definatly an "us and them" situation with the present squad.
I'm sure Bowyer will bring into our club players with character just as Parky did, that way you have a foundation for good team spirit.
There will always be characters within a squad guys like McMahon, although annoying at times there would never be a dull moment with Tony around.

    Yep
That's what most successful businesses do
Old ground I know but if we had been "forward thinking" in the last few windows (mainly doing as we said and backed Stuart) then L2 would have been a million miles away
When was the last time we used "forward thinking" in a transfer window
