    I've always liked Billy but we aren't a charity for out of work ex players. There's a reason he wasn't offered a new contract here and hasn't been able to sort himself out with another club somewhere else.

    In what way? He plays a completely different position. It's like me suggesting he was better than NKP so we might aswell have brought him in?

    If we have any money whatsoever we need a ball winner. Someone who can dominate midfield, break up play and help dictate our tempo.

    We've plenty of attacking options now, we just don't have the players around them to allow them to play.

    He can play the same role as Anderson and Gibson and as a better footballer would probably be better than Akpan or Devine as a defensive midfielder, His work rate would also help although to be fair Devine does put in some yardage.

    He mentioned he felt he never got a fair crack under bowyer (or hopkin) so given that Bowyer is still here im fairly sure that unless
    we have fairly big injury crisis then that ship has well and truly sailed
