Doyle will probably here hopefully with a proper partner as will the keeper. We need to replace the loans with some good signings

Not a rumour but having a look at some of the league 2 players out of contract this season, I'd definitely take Chuks Aneke and Danny Mayor if their respective clubs don't go up.

Just goes to show someone with Shearer and Dalglish's qualities as strikers could be fooled.

he won’t drop to league two. he’ll see himself as still being able to do a job for a team in the championship or top of league one. his wages wouldn’t be cheap either. if we were trying to entice him to league two, we’d probably have to pay a premium with a non-promotion release clause.

 

But could still do a job in league two along side Doyle of course only IMO.

 

You may be correct but as his 12 month contract at Bolton is up in June who knows I can't agree he will get a Championship club, but time will tell.

 

Always liked Aneke when he's played against us and often wondered why he didn't score more goals in the lower divisions he has all the assets maybe not the right mental strength.

EDIT the lad is out of contract in June but what sort of money would he want.
