    The Paudie thing is interesting to me as it shows how we can be a little quick to judge a player. When he came in on loan he was slated on here, then debuted and was absolutely hammered by pretty much everyone. Fast forward a couple of months, gets back in team and is almost immediately given the armband. People on here reckoning he now looks like a player, Bowyer given credit for handling him.
    If that's a fair synopsis, maybe we should try to reserve judgement on incoming players until we see how they do over a few games. (Obviously quite a few did and do, but we have quite a few more are happy to slate anything).

    Tough circumstances to come into but he didn’t help himself it seems. Had his favourites and alienated a fair few players when we needed all hands on deck.

    Agree, as well as some horrific tactics and a complete balls up of a transfer window. Its no surprise he's gone back to the farms up in Scotland.

    Just seen Jamie Devitt has left Carlisle after winning player of the year twice leaving the club and fans gutted
    I don't think he would come back to us after the stick he took but he looks a good player for this level now
