It was the club that requested the area be put there so they must have thought at the time that selling on the streets wasn’t feasible. They will not want to currently bother the council about incase they enforced it fully including programmes and Shirt of Your back tickets

I sit in the Main Stand normally and there is no merchandise stall at games. I guess as I sit in the lower section l am not sure what happens in the upper tier but fairly certain that it will be the same throughout the ground.

Just checked and the price of a scarf is a £10. Sell say 100 over the three sections of the ground and that is a tidy £1000. https://bantams.clubstore.co.uk/hats If goods are easy to access then they are more likely to be sold.

One for @Glenn Ackroyd@Glenn Ackroyd to consider.

It was on the lower concourse just at the bottom of the steps to the left.

Yes unfortunatly we still have staff at Valley Parade who have the Edin mentality and are reluctant to change, or take others opinions onboard.

    As for paying staff ?
Whatever happened to the idea of volunteers ?

The 'carrot' ? Free admission for the game for said 'vendor' and spouse / kid ? ;)

(As a kid - when skint ..... I used to sell 'Goalden Goal' tickets. No money paid to me - But I always sold at least 75% and watched the game for 'free' ;) )
IF already an ST holder, then sod it ..... Chuck in a voucher or two for a burger with Chips, ffs ! :)

Appreciated ......... I was only adding to the issue, in that a wage for staff may not be sought ;)

The main problem with the concourse only model is that there may not be suitable sites for all locations inside the stadium?

If you are in the upper tier of the Main/JCT stand then you do not really go onto the lower level. There doesn’t appear to be a universal area on the upper tier.

The area at the back of the lower Kop is not very large. Not sure what it is like in the Upper Kop?

I have never been in the NW Corner so l can’t comment on it as a stall location.

The Midland Road from what I recall had a fairly deep concourse and would be suitable.

The Bradford End/TL Dallas is fairly small and no real suitable area, although it is usually only away fans in there.

It is footfall in a prominent location which is essential.

No obvious reason why they couldn’t sell outside the stadium pre match and move inside at kick off time to catch half time sales.
