It's all about opinions of course, but I think this is a bit of a myth. Bobby has 27 appearances so far this season. Granted he isn't starting every game but there have been times his form hasn't merited it and after being dropped, he has come back stronger.
As for Sanderson, he was dropped for Kavanagh who is also 21 years old.

A big issue with the data, one that makes it impossible to prove what I'm saying beyond all reasonable doubt (and I'm happy for people to doubt it and have different opinions, no worries), is the injuries to senior players.

I don't think if we'd had Sarcevic, Smallwood and Pattison fit all season, Pointon would be anywhere near our 8th most played player - and frankly, I think given the injuries we've had in midfield, he should/could have played far more.

Up front, Cook has been on red hot form, so no issues with him getting selected week in, week out, of course. But the idea Kavanagh has played loads of football isn't true either, he's played roughly the same number of minutes as Pointon has, and I consider Pointon under-used. Sanderson is a good example of a young player being harshly treated in my opinion. He scored 3 goals in 3 starts + 1 sub appearance, went a whole 2 games without scoring, then was completely dropped and not seen again for over a month!

Maybe he was injured, I don't remember him being announced as such though, I think GA just said he wasn't playing him based on performances.

The younger players are also subbed in the majority of games, and I don't really remember seeing Pointon blowing out of his arse.

MK Dons fans happy to see him go, quoting that he puts little effort in.

Either you're drinking too much and it is doing you no good or he is not short enough in stature for you

 

It didn’t take long . Lots of L1 clubs were after him when he signed for MKD. They seemed to think him wonderful before the Baldock overblown incident . They are an arrogant bunch of self entitled two hats if you read their forum yet still drop down the leagues.

 

You're avoiding the topic. He's been deemed lazy with a lack of effort - that's not a positive sign is it?

Obviously we'll give him a chance with it being a fresh start for him, but it doesn't inspire confidence when:

1) MK Dons sign him for a fee then sell him 6 months later
2) Fans happy to see him go
3) Deemed to have put in lack of effort

It seems some fans daren't talk about, or chastise others, who state facts that don't fit their happy clap narrative.

 

A forum is all about opinions, yours and fans who you consider happy clappers, everyone is welcome.

 

and we would say the same about any of our squad that left. Why why why do some on here try to destroy players before they've seen them?

 

Same can be said for people who big people up and cream their pants over someone relatively unproven.

If you're overly optimistic based on not a right lot and get let down it's worse, in my opinion, than being underwhelmed based on hard facts and then perhaps being proven wrong.

We've had way more 'miss' than 'hit' with new signings under this regime so all the hysteria whenever somebody new walks through the door is quite baffling and a little cringe really.

 

In fairness to @bantamlad92 he suggests that the signing of TL comes with concerns from his short lived career at MK and it reality, it could happen here.

 

I am expecting our latest recruit to be sponsored by Jet2 as they seem to like anything to do with Leigh

Genuine question, does anyone know if Accrington fans thought the same ie lack of effort?

 

The signing of any player at any club is always a gamble
Different situations different factors. He might fit in perfectly he might not
Poor at MK but decent for Stanley
He is a good age and if he is a replacement for someone in the squad who has not reached the standard we all hoped Odour Walker then alls well, especially if he improves the squad strength
