Blame will be laid squarely at Rahic’s feet and so it should be if it goes tits up. No manager worth their salt wanted the job because of his “model” so he gave it to a rookie double act. I for one hope it works I really do but like others I have a feeling it will all end in tears.

The coaching staff getting sacked before Christmas and chants at home games asking for Edin’s head I would guess.

 

And you really believe that's a real possibility even after the quality of some of the recent signings we have made and potentially have yet to make?

 

If he had appointed what people consider a good manager and brought in good players like we have this summer.If things went wrong Edin would get the blame just the same

 

The sackings most definitely. As for the chants? Up in the air that one. We’ve made some good signings which Edin has to take some credit for so who knows.

 

Fair point, however he’d get less flack if he’d appointed an experienced manager/coach and it failed than he will if the rookies fail purely because people will say we told you so & it was on the cards etc.

Good signings don't necessarily make a good team. Up to the coach/manager to mould them into a fighting unit. Thats why the top managers get the big bucks.

 

Plus these recent good/quality signings have not played a full season- say around 40 games- for a good few years,

If you mean o'donnell or akpan or scannell.

Something to keep an open mind on as the club needs these experienced guys to step it up for us this season.

More quality at the business end of the pitch will help the rookie head coach no end.

 

Yes. Most definitely. We haven't made quality signings. People are banging on about scannel.. but his assists and goals are like that of gilleads

 

Rahic will get stick if it goes tits up with Collins and deservedly so, theres no way anyone can defend that really. Hiring a rookie and crossing your fingers basically is risky business.
