    Since moving from C&B I've posted very little due to the absolute tools allowed on here.
    Banned members from C&B and the usual idiots moved over.
    All you see in almost every post is back biting, personal insults and one trying to get one over on each other.
    And then there's the ITK........ Jeez!
    Time mods started to sort it out as it's getting very tedious and uninteresting.
    Very little positive or constructive things mentioned.
    I bet this was one of the reasons Ed shut C&B down.

    Unless changes I won't be on much longer

    I think there are two people that were banned that are on here. There weren’t many people banned from C&B

    There is a facility which allows you to ignore the posters you term as the ‘usual idiots’. Here is the link, although it is a ‘stickie’ https://bantamtalk.com/index.php?threads/is-someone-winding-you-up.351/ and as such highly visible when you log on.

    Just ‘ignore’ all the posters you find objectionable. That should make your visits more enjoyable. I hope that assists.

    Just to let you know, that your post above could be considered ‘ageist’, by some who post on this board.

    The age of the poster is immaterial.

    If the posts are not personally abusive, racist, homophobic, libellous or using threats, then they are allowed.

    Yes a lot would not get on ‘Just a minute’ Or forty seconds of it (rules include No repetition or deviation), but hey we try to be inclusive on BT and allow a wide spectrum of views, some which are diametrically the opposite of others.

    Again I hope that assists.

    After reading this, if I felt the same way do you know what I'd do? Simply not come on here, problem solved, agree about the "ITK's" however but it's a small minority.

    I like this forum I forget sometimes it’s not the old site feels nice and familiar , I ventured into the cows butt but it looks like 3 or 4 people replying to themselves

    These people looking for the Nirvana of forums need to wake up a happy forum does t fecking exist , I’ve been on the majority of other clubs and most are shite I’m just glad people are willing to run it

    I am surprised that the original poster @Eccybantam@Eccybantam has not replied, confirming he has taken the advice and put all the posters he considers ‘tools’ on ignore. It would then screen those out, that he finds offensive.

    I think that the new forum works well. For sure some of it is repetitive, banal, speculative, and bickering. However a lot of it is witty, engaging, informative and thought provoking.

    Thanks for your positive endorsement.

    I wasn't aware we had to produce our past history of our membership on C&B or any other forum to become Bantam Talk members, I thought you was an amusing/funny poster on C&B and after reading your original post I am still of that opinion :).

    I saw my son earlier ......... Had me in stitches ............

    Mrs O'Brien addressed her young pupils and asked them to consider a word, then place it in a sentence, within context.
    She began with 'Contagious' ..........
    Following a short pause ............. Young Paddy offered the following .........

    "Oh yes, missus, me Father was tawking to me uncle Moike only yesterday, so he was. Old man Brown was creosoting his fence, so he was.
    "The fence is over 100 foot larng, and da poor bloke only had a 1" brush. Uncle Moike said it would take the Contagious, so he did !"

    Reminded me of my own youth when the teacher presented the word Fascinate .............

    "Oh yes, missus ......... Moi short should have noin buttons - but one is missing, so I can only Fascinate, so I can." :)
