I'm not going to get into the abject mess that this season has been - encapsulated perfectly by today's horror show. It simply needs to end as quickly as possible - we have none of the ingredients needed to even make a fight out of staying up. We're done.

However, like most fans, there's an impending decision to be made about the renewing of season tickets for next season. If sales are as slow as I've been led to believe - and as slow as most would expect, then the club needs to consider its position carefully.

Personally, I'm not going to make my decision based on price, or a price deadline, or even the fact that we'll be in League 2 - though I'm already shuddering at the thought.

I want to know how the club plans to rebuild the hollow shell that its become. There's a significant level of investment and skill required to make us into a credible side that fans can engage with once again. We have key positions filled by people on short term contracts, and we have long term contracts assigned to people who have no business being at this football club. That's not a good recipe.

There may be some commercial sensitivity around these points and it may be unusual for a club to talk openly about such matters. But this is a club in crisis and we need to act with recognition of that reality.

What are the intentions of Stefan Rupp? Is he actively looking to sell, or attract new investors? If not, what level of investment is he willing to make for next season? Who's going to fill the key role of Chief Operating Officer going forward? What are our plans for the Manager role? To what extent are we prepared to be ruthless with regard to contracted players? What level of playing budget will be guaranteed for the season ahead?

I'm willing to invest my time and money into supporting the club next season. But only if we demonstrate a plan for getting our act together and taking drastic steps to rebuild this club. And those steps should start now - including the termination of contracted players who we've no intention of keeping. I want to see intent, ruthless planning and action, and a guarantee of the investment needed to put things right. Properly right.

The club is faceless.. it needs new owners that are actively involved and in the press every few weeks

It has no identity and is just a shell

Has Rupp even been to a game this year

If we have a similar budget next season as we did this, we would easily eclipse anyone in league two.

But that’s not the issue. It’s ok saying it needs investment which it does but it needs the right men making the decisions on the pitch and off of it. If we have a budget let the manager decide who he signs. Thankfully Abbott has gone to add to that.

This squad has been put together by 5 men now and it shows. It’s a shambles and a mismatch with all the same players of the same
Positions and no depth in the right areas

We need a manager in who will be here next season and be given time.

Not even fussed about new owners but we do need a figure head.

If Rupp is staying he needs to appoint someone to be that figurehead. Rhodes was never going to be it, he was Mr Invisible when he owned the club

Rupp needs to f*ck off, we must get rid of the last remaining member of the 2 incompetent dimwits that have got us into this mess, and rebuild under proper stewardship.

The players need to take a hike this summer, every single last one of them barring a few, and rebuild under a proper manager.

We need to have some of our identity back - everyone associated with the club now mean nothing to no-one barring Rhodes. Rhodes needs to take control, get Bruno in or Stuart back as boss and bring back some of those heads who actually f*cking care about BCFC. Because at the minute we're a sinking ship sailed by a bunch of imposters.

Manager will need a lot of funds to bring in new players and pay most of this lot off

if we fail to shift our contracted players as we did in January, next seasons budget will look similar to this one and we'd still be in a right mess. The current squad as it is would not be a class above in league 2. Not even close.

Couldn't give a flying feck tbh, these players aren't going anywhere as no other club is run by dumb @?#& like ours who would shell out so much dollar on abject shite. If Rupp somehow conjures up some money and terminates their deals, or cons someone else into buying them then maybe i'll turn up, but as it stands the club is dead and I'm done caring, I have better things to spend £150 a year on

No it wouldn’t be a class above and that’s not what I’ve said either.

Our budget will be competitive I don’t doubt it. But we need to make sure we give it to the right man

This team would struggle in league 2. It has no pace, no strength, no point in banging crosses in as we have no height or physicality. Blackpool didn’t have to get out of second gear to score four. Those ‘fundamental’ problems would put any club down, just happens to be ours that had Rahic and Abbott doing the recruitment. Pair of fecknuggets.

As it standa we have no idea what next years budget will be. More importantly we need to know who will be owning the club and what their intentions are.

We don’t know. We need a statement and a direction quick. If someone takes over the club they will need money to buy Rupp out. Unless he wants to just walk away

I've seen the future, brother, it is murder.
