Won’t work effectively in my opinion unless they allow the thousands of ST holders who don’t attend Tuesday games to free up their seats if not gonna be used.
Yes there are seats to buy but all up in the gods.

There are plenty of seats to choose from. It's a good initiative from the club.

Have a look on the seat map, the options are limited.
Yes of course it’s a good initiative but I think there will be more take up if better seats were available

It's a great idea. Tuesday's attendances are always lower. Let's get more people in and excited and hopefully see a win!

100% it’s great. Even better if ST holders also attended.

You are like a dog with a bone on this topic. It is a non problem until we sell out regularly.

I was thinking more of a Hobby Horse that would give him an elevated perspective/judgement seat. What next a signature in blood we will attend all matches especially on dark nights/freezing/rain/ wind.

You’re right, it is something that I find irritating not only because so many people don’t attend midweek games but also because when the club runs an incentive like this we need better availability of seat choices.

A great initiative as it was likely to be a low attendance game. It should boost the away following as well to create a better atmosphere and also it probably makes opening the TL Dallas for them more worthwhile. It's in half term as well so hopefully will help with more kids and families attending for home and away fans.

There are some seats together in all levels of all stands with plenty in the top tier. If you are getting cheap tickets you can't expect to have prime spots.

Nobody forcing anyone to attend, just free up seats so others can, especially if there’s a price incentive which the club might hope will have a good uptake.

This game is due to be played in the February school holidays.
Good marketing to get more youngsters and their guardians into the stadium that wouldn't usually attend on a school night
Hope it gets a successful response.

The capacity won't be an issue so your point is irrelevant. Good initiative by the club to make use of the empty seating.

People don’t always sit in their seats anyway. My daughter doesn’t do midweek games and there is always someone extra sitting on our row because people have shuffled up into her seat. I don’t care as long as they aren’t in my seat.

I think these cheap ticket promos are great and would like to see the ground full.

Whilst that’s almost the case most of the time, people who are maybe attending for the first time will want some certainty on the seat they are in.
So a family of 4 will want the certainty of sitting together not in row zzz of the upper Sunwin.
And if the club lose the opportunity of hooking in a new family because a bunch of ST holders think it’s too cold and it’s on telly then it’s not great is it?

There is zero evidence that a family of 4 cannot find seats together in "reasonable" parts of the ground. On our row in the Midland Road there have been a number of people who have bought tickets on a match by match basis near us, and not just single tickets either.

I take your point but its not really practical for us to start giving tickets back to the club. Or even if just notifying them of seats that wont be used, its creating extra admin for someone at the club, policing which ST seats wont be used.

i think the offer should just be seen for what it is - a chance to come see a game for half price and im sure there are areas in VP that can accommodate groups.

Yes, they might be up in the gods, but it avoids making extra work for yourself, work the club could be doing marketing the currently unsold seats to schools, community groups and sports clubs, rather than effectively selling the same seats twice, repurposing ST seats we’ve already got the cash for!

They are advertising it as a Yorkshire v Lancashire clash, when I think technically, Stockport is in Cheshire.

You can have my seat if you want. Just need you to scan in my season ticket so I can get the loyalty points and continue to get the away tickets for local games. Can't be arsed to go too far but games like Huddersfield I'll probably make the effort.

You have a valid point regarding the admin effort and for that reason at the moment it’s probably a non starter but the hope is we get promoted and VP is fully sold out every week with bums on seats, not watching on Sky+ coz it’s cold.:devil:
