What's your gut instinct telling you Roger, about whether Sparks sticks with Trueman & Sellars this summer?

Well unless in 3 months - 6 months time he wants fans singing Sparks out he will make the changes required to give this club the best chance to go up automatically next season!

It should be a thank you T & S your old jobs are there if the new manager doesn’t want you part of the 1st team set up but unfortunately your success was also part of your failure and I need a manager that can kick this club on.

It really is a simple solution and one that a expert Sparks to take or he must go if T & S fail next season.

Sparks shouldn’t be just copying what Rhodes did. Rhodes was a massive failure barring cheap season tickets but even that has had its day. Sparks needs to stop this doing things on the cheap and get the man he feels can deliver for this bloody football club.

Fans are sick of this club being a joke. It’s going to turn nasty unless we start transforming this club.

I think that you, if you are honest with yourself, like the rest of us WW can see that it's now not working with T&S and the time is now right for Ryan Sparks to admit that he was a little hasty in giving them a contract that went past this season.
If Ryan sticks then it does appear that next season will be yet another of utter failure.
A new man, installed sooner rather than later, would have the time to work on a new, more determined squad in preparation for next season.
There also seems to be a major dressing room problem that T&S seem to be unable to control ie the team announced yesterday to the team that actually took to the pitch - or are we all reading too much into this?

The fickleness of our fans amazes me. Everyone was bashing one off about them a few weeks ago. Why are they bad managers all of a sudden?

Personally I’d have gone for Hurst to begin with, but now they’re in we need to see next season through and build a great squad in the summer. They have had half a season in the middle of a pandemic FFS.

I agree with your last paragraph but I am pleased we didn’t end up with Hurst

Fickle? What because we expect better than finishing in 15th in the khazi league?

Take a look at the league table 3 months ago. On 6th February, we were in 19th place on 31 points. Bolton were a place below us in 20th, albeit on goal difference only but still, they were below us. Since then, Bolton have moved up 17 places and secured themselves automatic promotion, we've moved up 4 places and got absolutely nothing to show for it. Worse than that though, is that on the 6th February, Stevenage were 2 places below us on 26 points having played a game more. They finished the season ahead of us. A team that got relegated last season and only got reinstated because of what happened to Macclesfield, finished above us. Quite simply, that is not good enough, whoever the manager/s are, and it isn't fickle or disrespectful to be questioning whether T&S are the managers that can take us forward and have us challenging at the top end of the table next season.

Now competing with Salford who after three managers failed to get them up despite thinking they deserve it lol. Now looking again for someone new. No one can say anything about our revolving door now. There club as much a shambles as ours

    Deary me
Hadn't realised the pandemic was confined to Bradford and not every other L2 side
No wonder we finished below mid table

I don't think the majority are overly fickle. The fans weren't asking for the axe to fall on Parkinson when the team went on an extended winless run. Because he'd built up a lot of support prior to that.

Regardless of whoever's in charge, both performances and results over the last couple of months would put any manager under pressure. The difference between the present incumbents and someone like Parkinson, is the period when the team was getting results wasn't that long and we have no evidence that shows them capable of turning these displays around and building for the future.

If T&S had some prior experience that showed that their coaching methods and team building strategies ultimately worked, but it could be a rocky road on the way to that happening. I'd be more in favour of giving them time. But from what I've seen, it's not just the results that are dire, the performances are approaching what we saw towards the end of McCall's reign. Plus, the dressing room doesn't appear to be a cohesive and positive environment to work in at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if some players are possibly questioning whether the management duo are up to the job. Which is far more toxic than it just being the supporters.

When you put all that together. I'm far from convinced that they can form a competitive squad for next season. Letting them continue and it not working out when the window's closed and the money's been spent could see the club flirting even closer to the armageddon of non-league next season if those at the top aren't careful in my opinion.

As one of our most fickle, I'm still tentatively backing them. Without building a backroom team, creating a balanced squad, at this level, irrespective of any potential management shuffle, little success will probably follow.

They have positives and negatives to their cv to date. I'm hoping (yes I'm using the word hope) that the former shines through next season.

Don't fathom this. We got our best results during the height of the pandemic and dropped off once the vaccine rates started bringing infection rates down. Surely that means the pandemic had a positive effect on our squad ?

So let me get this right.

Within 24 hours of the season finishing:

Leyton Orient have said they want a new manger that has Div 1 and Div 2 experience.

Salford have got rid of boring Bowyer( @Park bantam@Park bantam wrong again) and linked with Roy Keane, Warren Joyce and Sam Allardyce

Meanwhile at Bradford City Ryan Sparks is still pissing about with T & S - Come on !! Ryan do the right thing!
