It's a good policy to have if you recruit better. Don't lumber the club with players on 2 year plus contracts who are coming to the end of their career. One year should be enough for the player to work hard enough for another contract, or the club to find a suitable replacement.

I've watched the League 1 play off games and one thing stands out - to be even close to success at this level, you need forward players with pace and the ability to run at the opposition. We sorely lack that, and we need to sort it in the summer. A quality centre forward, and at least one, probably two players who pace and direct running ability with the ball. It's crucial.
