Summer 2025 transfer rumours

Its possible.....but I think GA will be keen to keep a select few for continuity knowing he can trust them. I fully expect Walker, Baldwin, Leigh, Pointon and possibly Lapslie all to be with us next season.

Richards and Pattison will depend on fitness and whether they get a new deal. Sarcevic and Cook will come down to age and whether they can still do a job. Players like Halliday, Wright, Byrne, Kelly and Kavanagh will come down to whether they are playing regularly enough to warrant staying.

Of course, I could be completely wrong if we go up to the Championship!

 

I think Walker will be here, not sure on Baldwin and i think his deal is up in the summer? I cant see Lapslie being here really unless he suddenly clamps down that RAM slot, he's so in and out it's tough to see past a rotation player at the min. Pointon will be in the champ next season in my view.

Waiting for another 10 or so games before I start really paying attention to the table, give teams a chance to properly scout us and see how we recover from our first defeat which you'd have thought would have happened by then, but I reckon Bobby will be in the champ either for us, or he'll net us a very good fee in the summer and move on up.

 

I was disappointed with that showing from Wright. He's an experienced defender and should have been able to adapt to combat the obvious approach from Stevens.

He's been great so far and we got the win so hopefully that's just a blip but I think he'll definitely not want to repeat that level of performance too often.

 

We have a one year option on Baldwin, so if he is playing then that will get extended imo. We have a lot of players whose contracts are up in the summer so if those under contract until 2027 (like Lapslie) have been any use then I see them staying as well.

Lapslie should get enough game time due to Sarcevics fitness and age.

 

It certainly caught him out . It’s simple and effective for any forward to do just needs timing.

It's even worse than that, it's 20k with half of it suspended until the end of the season!

 

It's the ref to blame...if only he hadn't given 6 extra minutes it wouldn't have happened.......

 

He wasn't very impressive with a similar player against Wycombe.
