Unlike most other transfer windows there is no position we desperately need to cover. Unless we are able to bring in a player for any position better than what we have.

Obviously not on the cards but given they're both recent talking points in the thread (and nothing else is going on!)... who'd take a straight swap today? Pointon for Wells. As part of any such deal the transfer fee received ,for arguments sake, covers Nahki's wages.

 

It would be good for pages of debate, but for me absolutely not. Bobby's got something about him and he's only going to get better.

 

No materour need for Bobby is more than that of a striker.... especially if he gets one in on loan our buying....

Josh Ruffels another name thrown in, former Huddersfield left back/left wing back/left centre back. Last few years have been ruined by injury, but he got fit again toward the back end of last season and played LCB for Huddersfield to end the season. He was out over a year from what was initially a hernia and groin issue but sounds like it was a nightmare time for the lad with complications.

 

Definitely wouldn't swap Pointon for Wells.
