Yep, moving players on isnt as easy as it may have been in previous years. At least there's interest but still needs them to want to move.

 

I reckon the 3 we are trying to get rid of will all be gone on deadline day.

It will all come down to money. I doubt anyone would pay a fee for Wilson, Smith or Oduor, we'd need to probably meet a club half way and pay some part of their fees off. They'll probably entertain more when it's close to the deadline.

Think Raynor is either clever or instructed to include that the players representatives aren't entertaining these offers, which does point to it all being about agents trying to get the most out of it, to me anyway.

 

Agents “ go betweens and I’ll have some of your wage and signing on fee ” merchants. It shouldn’t be permitted !

 

Apparently we have the 2nd Oldest squad from the 4 league games in the EFL. Only Wrexham have a more older/experienced squad

 

It didn't do Wrexham any harm last season having an ageing squad.

 

They aren't daft, they know how to get the most coin out of a club and what the players can and cant do.

Look at Isak at Newcastle, he's not shown up to training, he's ranting on social media about broken promises, he's demanding his move...... but he hasn't put in his transfer request, and wont do it. Because these days players have loyalty bonuses in their contracts, so once he formally asks for a transfer, he breaches his contract and his loyalty bonuses or signing fees are waived. What are the chances he or any players iron out the details of contacts? Minimal? His agent is doing all he can do make sure Isak doesn't lose millions on this transfer, which in turn loses him his 10%.

 

I hear Doncaster have agreed a fee of about £500k for Jetta. Could be a decent bit of business for them.
