I'd be very disappointed with this. Right now we are covered for every eventuality. Lose Neufville to suspension or injury and we have nobody.

 

Hope we re-buff it, It'll be a long old season and we'll need him at some stage, whether that's other injuries,suspension and/or form.
He may not be 1st choice, but we need a decent squad with quality and despite not currently in the 1st xi he still has enough quality to be part of what is appearing to hopefully be a journey this season

 

I'd be really sorry to see him leave but he strikes me as a player that wants to be playing every week and the only way he gets that opportunity with us this season is if Neufville gets a bad injury, which none of us would want to see happen. I think if there is genuine interest from elsewhere he'll be off and we'll probably sign Hunt as his replacement.

We're starting to build foundations at the club for the first time in a lomg time and losing him I believe would be detrimental to the cause.

 

Didn't Brad Holliday miss quite a bit of football prior to joining us though injury?

He's been a standout for us (broadly, with the odd wobble) and I can't blame him for wanting to play every week based on his performance for the last 18 months or so. He should be a first choice for a team, but that clearly and probably rightly from these early matches, isn't us at the moment.

 

He may want to go, seeing as he now knows he’s second fiddle. If that’s the case let him go , no point in letting an unhappy player sit in the wings?

We need to keep all the good players we have and although he currently isnt in the 1st xi, I thimk everyone would agree he's a decent player and also a decent bloke which I think means a lot to GA.

Personally sit down and talk with him & discuss where we're hopefully going , No guarantee's but let's see where both he and the club are at Xmas.Really dont see him downing tools if he doesnt get his own way to be honest.

I must’ve missed the survey. I’d say 10s are one of our stronger areas and it’s an out and out striker that we’re short of.
We’d have been out of sight in all three matches with a finisher

 

I don't think for a minute he would ever down tools and equally, I don't think he would ever be forced out by GA. However, I do think he's a player that's after more than just a cameo role and if he has the opportunity to do that elsewhere, I don't think GA would stand in his way if he wanted to take it.

With Powell coming in do we see a possible departure somewhere? Pattison, Kavanagh? I hope not because we need a solid squad but these 2 are players that havent seen 5 minutes of grass so far.
