Not a rumour but, I really hope Kiwomya has been transferred.

Maybe a hot take, but he is better than Gary Jones on comms. He is less boring than Nathan Clark and doesn't spout as much nonsense as Redfearn. There's only Morais who is GOAT tier

 

I'll definitely give you Morais, but I think Mark Bower is up there too. I know Kiyomya talks some unintelligible b#ll#cks at times, but I actually prefer him to Gary Jones droning on about how good we were "back in his day". Just my opinion of course

 

Sorry but he's nowhere near the best commentator summeriser. Ask those who listen every week!

 

He's the most likeable imo. He might not be the most articulate but there's something comforting about the way he speaks and you feel like he's some old timer sat with you in the stands.

 

He's passionate, at times quite insightful and although careful not to be overly critical of players, his passion sometimes does allow him to be very honest. He's interesting to listen to and I like the bloke. He loves City.

If no specific target, I presume they were knocked back with the other loan target, presuming Metcalfe was the other, and we managed to make that one permanent

 

So GA wants to add one more for now but seems open to the idea of bringing in more if others leave.

Byrne out for a few months and Kelly been a crock probably suggests a CB. Otherwise its Huntington. When others leave it may be a CF.

 

Anyone else get the impression Cookie might be nearer to being fit than initially led to believe?

It's certainly been quieter than usual on bounce or behind closed door games but it wouldn't surprise me if he has been getting fit and appears on the bench before August is out

It would be a little surprising, coming back from an ACL inside of 8 months would be pretty quick. Didn't Cook have to wait a few weeks to have his surgery too due to the swelling?

Rodri was back on the pitch in just over 8 months at Man City this year, and thats a guy in his peak age at state of the art facilities. I reckon Cook being in a Pizza cup squad for Everton u21s in late Sept might be a goal, October will probably be a more realistic shout unless the man's a medical marvel.

Wimbledon recruit their first three players of this window , two we know , Danilo Orsi ( his third club in less than a year) and Aswiimi ( loaned to Walsall last season ) .

 

Nathan Lowe loan move to Stockport confirmed. Pretty jealous of that signing.

Be interesting to see how he gets on in league 1.

 

Cooky says he was aiming for Sep/Oct a few months ago. The fact he is training individually and very close to contact training says to me, as long as there are no setbacks, he will be back in multiple weeks rather than multiple months.

 

I don't doubt the passion but if youre listening to try and understand what's happening with the game then it's very difficult to follow when he raises his voice over Jamie or gets over excited when the ball just gets into the penalty area. He also says things which are don't really make sense or contradicts himself and sometimes in the same sentence.
