Jack Hunt still with us. A decision will be made before the weekend, along with Huntington.

The assumption was Hunt had left as he didn't feature at Oldham, however, his absence was due to a knock, but back in training with us.

 

Seems odd to me. An inch shorter than Halliday so cant fill in at RCB.

I used to be the writer for them before other priorities took over and everything at FLW is opinion based with clickbait titles

 

I honestly don't see the point in this signing. It seems to be one of them Jordan Henderson deals that he must do card tricks on the team bus to keep morale up. If he's not coming in to be a starter then bin him off. We don't need more squad fillers

 

Maybe there is interest in Halliday from another club and we are considering selling?

All sorts of transfers out of the blue happen in August

 

TBH if GA is unsure after 5 weeks and will wait until the last minute then its obviously a signing not worth while.

I dont know what GA is doing with Hunt and Huntington. They offer nothing apart from eating a wage. For the wages they collect as a duo might as well go sign McGowan the RWB/RCB who left Northampton.

 

Quite possible but if Jack Hunt is the answer then what is the question.

 

Which 34 year old player that was released by Bristol Rovers at the end of last season has been training with Bradford City over the summer?

 

Jack Hunt has always been a very good player and at 34 there are older players but we are well covered in areas he plays. So unless we have plenty of extra money it would be a strange signing

In a heartbeat. He'd be a superb defender at this level. Wages would be a problem.

 

100%. He would be an outstanding signing for any club at this level.

I suspect his expected wages would be well beyond us though.

 

Was on around 25k at Leeds but 14k at Sofia apparently. He couldn't settle there so is heading back to the UK. I presume he will be back in the championship Hull maybe as he is free agent at that's all they can sign

 

Yes I was also thinking Hull as a likely destination for him

 

He was supposed to join Hull last summer and then for some reason the deal fell through and he went to Bulgaria a few days later. A quick look at his name on twitter and pretty much all you see are Sofia fans mentioning how he was one of the worst players they've signed in a long time.

It's been a while since he was a starting CB, outside of a 2 month patch for Leeds in 2022 and a just short of 2 month spell in Bulgaria, the last time he was a CB starting week in week out for a while ended in November 2021 before he had a really bad hamstring injury which seemingly crops back up again since. Reckon his only CH level moves would be Sheff Weds or Hull just because of their situations.

 

Hull can’t sign anyone can they?
