Again I don't disagree my point is we have established young player in Pointon where Ameen although he looked good in cameo role against us is nowhere near a regular starter at Swindon.(He may be next season granted but isn't at Present.

 

I fully understood your original point without any need for explanation! I didn't know Pointon had been on other clubs radar - anyone we know? I'll be honest and would love to be proved wrong, but I don't know how much further Pointon will develop. This season is definitely a big one for him. No doubt whatsoever he can pick a pass and got his share of goals, but he lacks pace and however much some might disagree he did get bullied off the ball a lot. Go on Bobby prove me wrong!

 

Think some people have been leg pulling sounded to good to be true. Thought when city vent put their name to it would a little but they’ve been off the mark for a while.

 

Pointon was disappointing in the run in but overall had a very good season bu I think he will behind Humphrey at least at the start

 

Dont think they have got stuff wrong as such...more so mischief makers feeding them incorrect info. Hopefully they refind their form.

 

Sunderland were definitely looking at him and there were other rumours that Huddersfield Peterborough Birmingham and Bolton had him watched at different points of the season.

I agree he lacks pace but he is one of the very few players who can turn a player inside out or get out of tight spots whilst keeping the ball at his feet. If dies step up this season and excels then there will be no doubt clubs will be looking at him more seriously.

 

It wont be the first time I've been wrong but he's been pretty good in the past, time will tell.

To be fair to the lad Bobby was disappointing for the last couple of months because of that “ foot issue” …. EVERYONE of us knows what it’s like to be struggling to bear weight on a foot/ ankle issue. We can’t judge him solely on that period Park.

 

The only debating point Steve is which bit(s) gets the chop?
