Nobody , but nobody has an issue with Huntingdon and his experience …he’s bloody 38 ?
Those aged 30 are youngsters! I cannot believe the lack of football nous on display sometimes .?

Age isn't an issue with the commitments we are making. We aren't giving 30/31/32 year olds 3 year deals anymore.

In an ideal world, we probably have 1 or 2 defenders under 22ish to develop, but this is the first season back. Build a base first, bring in youth when theres foundations.

Windass is not what we need at all. He's not even a proper striker and isn't a goalscorer. We rejected him many years ago when he was on trial with us so maybe that is a stumbling block, add his wages in that bracket too. Just doesn't seem like a realistic or even a good signing. We need a proper striker, no more attacking midfielders who can do a job there

    Jesus wept!

Josh Windass would be the first name on our team sheet. He would also walk into any team in L1.

    Apps - 397
    Goals - 104
    Assists - 53

He’s a very, very good number ten!

You won’t get any game time and you won’t be in the matchday squads because of the signings “ Your next move us up to you or similar. It’s in the Telegraph .

He won't be coming, but would walk into our side, and no, we didn't reject him when he was a kid

Heard anything on Lewis Richards? A likely outcome?

My gut feeling is if Richards doesn't sign we sign jack hunt. Him and neufville can play LWB if required if touray is unavailable.

Richards is trying to negotiate better terms, as we’re attempting to re-sign him on 2-year deal.

Whatever happens, he plays for City next season, as we have an option to extend his contract for another year regardless.

So our current offer is one year on his old deal and one year on top of that with new terms?= 2 years ?

Im going to be honest and there isn't much room left for players to come in now. Maybe a Cook alternative and a Smallwood replacement and apart from Humphrys im not particularly impressed with the recruitment and im struggling to see this squad finishing in the top half as it stands. Now that might be fine for those of you who are just glad to have a team to support but this club is still bigger than 70ish % of this division and with Rupps comments since the promotion I really did think we would have waved our Willie's a bit better than this.

For me these next 2 signings as Cook and Smallwood replacements are absolutely critical to how our season goes and will show the real ambition of the club
