Don’t forget Kevin it was City who were desperate for the cash to sell Wells. Huddersfield made a firm offer and not sure if anyone else did. Did he feign injury or did the club want to keep their crucial asset fit so they could cash in on him?

 

To be fair to Nakhi Wells, you posted a link to an article where JR was quoted as saying that the sale of Wells saved the club. You have to question what the fck was he doing playing that game if that really was the case? A bit disingenuous of the club to let Nakhi take all the heat.

I don't blame Nakhi Wells for going to a club that suited his needs. Should he have moved to Trabszonpor for example, if they were the highest bidder?

Absolutely no issue with him, I will always appreciate having the chance to watch him regularly at City. An absolute highlight from the last twenty years.

 

Won't believe it until actually confirmed. Wells won't be as quick as he was but an important part of his game was speed of thought. That will not have diminished.
