He might be knocking on a bit but in the latter games of the season Ridehalgh looked more reliable than Halliday. Unspectacular but solid

 

Was never a championship player that was the fans hoping heard it was someone from burton

 

Heard it was their Saudi forward, Ghon Forroh.

 

KD Davis?

 

i heard it was a loan for Charlie Wyke.

 

Apart from Cook and Lewis Halliday was player of the season despite having a poor last game against a very good winger

 

He had been good but had a poor last few games. Crewe was a shocker. Don't get me wrong he's an ok league 2 fullback. My point was over the last few games Ridehalgh was more reliable

 

Where have the Agyie and Brough rumours come from?

 

Halliday played nearly every game of the season after being out with injury for virtually all of the previous season. No surprise really that he tailed off a bit in the last few games but still my third choice as player of the season.

 

Wishful thinking?

 

We're in league 2, a ok fullback will help get us out of it. Fullbacks very rarely if ever win player of the year awards or man of the match awards, base their performances in how good a season your back four had. And ours to be fair was decent, only the last couple of games of the season did we look vulnerable.

 

I'm not even arguing that. My original post was in response to why Ridehalgh being offered a new contract.

In an interview with Hughes he said the club had two lists depending on what league we were in especially Agyie will of been on the league one list

 

He's the sort of player that should be on both lists if we are serious about going for promotion.

 

Port Vale by the looks of it.

 

Middlesbrough born Danny Johnson has a few clubs chasing him apparently. I wonder whether we are one of them. Another striker signing from Mansfield, all makes sense to me!
