Maybe its time Stuart changed his right hand man and went with someone else? I do believe Stuart could be a great manager but I just wonder whether his loyalty to KB could be ultimately holding him back?

Good luck to him, hope he turns it around as long as it's not at our expense.

I didn’t think anyone said he was a bad manager? I thought the general theme of comments was that he has a set way of approaching games and generally has no Plan B. I think that is a fair assessment of him as a manager.

Is that because he came in and tried to implement his desired style of play on players not suited to it? Now he has better suited players (after January transfers) and it’s going better?

The test will be in 12 months time if results are still going well or if things get tough can he sort it out.

I wouldn't think so @alex@alex, we were still in or around the top 6 when Edin sacked Stuart, and the players at his disposal that season were a weaker squad that the season before when he took us to the play off final I would suggest.

Don’t think so, their results had turned for the better before he brought new signings in. They have just helped.

I've said it since November time, Stuart will send us down when we play them last away game. Then Wimbledon at home will be one of the most drab and uninspiring games known to man, due to them also been relegated, but I'll still be there!

On the other hand we could win our last two and stay up. Not the hardest of games

I genuinely don't think we will be now. I think we will win our next two games at Oxford and Blackpool home, still think we will go down, we've given ourselves too much to do, but think it'll be closer to the end of the season

Listen @Bronco@Bronco Stuart is probably the biggest legend as a player the club has had and knowing what was to follow him when he went last summer we would have been better sticking with him.
But I believe as a manager Stuart is to much one of the lads. Just listen to Killa and McMahon talking about him on radio Leeds last week. When it comes to cracking the whip when a team is on a losing streak he can’t do it

Less of the "listen bronco" I'm not your wife :), yes hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Regarding being one of the lads, I assume he was the same in his first season back when he took us to Wembley, being one of the lads was his way of doing things and it didn't seem to be a problem on our way to the play off final.
You would have had employees that some needed a kick up the arse others need a quiet word, he put his arm around Marshall and convinced him to stay that second season he was our match winner so many games either scoring or making an assists.
Yes I listened to that Radio Leeds program and it came across that the players had a lot of respect for him, I honestly thought it was a nice touch, seeing him more as nice human being rather than the boss, obviously different managers have different ways, I believe the players under Phil Parkinson had respect for him but knew when and where to have a laugh or a bit of banter.
I don't think Stuart will be asked to return as many have said we've tried it twice, Phil Parkinson could be out of a job soon, maybe some would use a similar argument not to bring Phil back.

That sort of approach works until things start going wrong. Now go and eat your dinner or I’ll crack the whip

Yes but when things go wrong they can only be put right with a joint effort right down from the owners (there's a laugh) through the footballing side and ultimately the players.
There was certainly a situation that arose in January that upset the playing staff and I agree them downing tools ultimately lead to Stuart losing his job.
Back to my original point maybe if the powers that be in January had approached the situation differently the season might have been so different.
    Just had dinner [IMG]:(.

I don't think his stock will be high enough at the minute after Scunthorpe.

I'd like him to get it, though.

Think he will struggle to get a job any where in L1 or above after two sackings after going on losing streaks. I know people will say that one wasn’t his fault but clubs and fans will be looking at his record
