I think Mcnulty is in terrible shape but rate him as a player. Explain how the 2 are mutually exclusive if what you think he's insinuating is 100%, without a doubt correct.

What was really meant has already been explained to you which you're ignoring post after post.

You do it in almost every single conversation you're engaged in. You barely understand a word that's been written to you , but are so fixated on what you want something to mean rather than the actual point that's being made which you hardly ever grasp.

 

Of course they are mutually exclusive. How can you be in “terrible shape” and still compete at this level in this day and age? How can you be compared to someone’s dad and the kit man and compete at this level?

Answer is you cannot. It was over exaggerating and I was pointing out he was a good footballer and his record proved that despite the claims about his weight.

Steve Mcnulty. He's without a doubt fat and over weight, and has still achieved all the things you are citing. You also clearly agree with this this and said the following:

The point is that Mcnulty is overweight (fact) which suggests a lack of professionalism (a perfectly valid point to make) which has held him back- another sound opinion. Rather than discussing whether he's over weight, unprofessional and if it's held him back, all you want to talk about is that someone has apparently claimed that he's crap, even though its not true. You also can't explain how the 2 are mutually exclusive without disagreeing with yourself, which is hilarious.

He’s a big lad. Overweight? Doubt it. Just because you think he is, does not make it a “fact”. He weighs half a stone more than Harry Kane. Hardly overweight

He’s played most of his last 6 years at professional club. I’ll say it again in case you miss it again, professional. That means he has to dedicate his time to keeping fit and competing at this level.

Again he’s played for sides who have been successful and captained most of those sides to that success. We were never comparing a higher level until faithful bantam decided to bring it up. My point is and always was, as fat as people claim he looks he must be a good player and is clearly fit to continue to do well at this level

His managers would stand for it if he was overweight and I’m sure his fellow professionals would not stand for him being overweight.

Comparing someone to a kit man, someone’s dad etc is in my opinion saying they are not good enough to play and therefore crap. They are amateur people at best and that’s the category he was put in despite that being clear he ain’t.

You interpreted his posts in a certain way, fair enough. Here's the thing though. The way you interpreted his post (Mcnulty being crap) isn't what he meant, and clarification as to what his actual point was was provided on atleast 3 occasions. Knowing this, why continue with the false narrative of someone claiming Mcnulty was crap even though you know very well it's not true?

As i said in an earlier post "If he's made it clear that what you're insinuating from his post is not what he's getting at, then you should accept it and move on rather than persisting to put words into his mouth making incorrect assertions".

Commenting on someone's appearance does not automatically result in thinking that person is crap at football and you should have considered his before you went ballsdeep with your condescending replies. That's not your style though is it?
