But refused to acknowledge the fact that, although he appears overweight, he is successful at what he does? To state he looks like a kit man or a kid’s dad that won a competition to allow him to play, refuses to accept that he’s still a good player (or at least he never admitted as much).

I think Mcnulty is in terrible shape for a footballer who looks like someone's dad has won a competition. I also think he's an amazing footballer with several promotions on his record.

Not every player will make the premier league and then not every player will win the top torohies. Competition is far too high these days for places with money etc.
