Picked up another 1500 limited essence. Short of enough to risk crafting in case I get a special but should hopefully pick up what I need this game week.

This Atlanta vs Columbus game is crazy. After 39 mins Columbus were 5 up. Atlanta were absolutely awful (like they have been most of the season) but win a penalty 3 mins into injury time which they scored.

Right now with a few minutes left its now 4-5

 

I think I would do a better job. I seem to be the only one who actually realises that this formation lives and dies by the WB's and that United don't really have any natural WB's, we have FB's (and in Amad a Winger which brings other issues although he is the closest to a proper WB) who naturally take up a starting positions that way too deep and they are also not all that quick so when we break they can't get up with play. It allows the opponent to then be compact as we have no width and makes them almost impossible to break down.

If we had proper WB's it would give us width on the break, stretch the defensive line and then the spaces that creates allow for better passing options and also space for players to attack. Mind you outside Amad the quality of service the options can give don't help.

Rather than buying 2 players who play where Bruno is most effective and a new striker who won't score goals if he only gets the service Rasmus was getting we needed 2 quality WB's with Amad being backup WB on the Right and Dorgu on the Left (as I think with someone quality to learn from he might come good) and then the other positions could be started to be improved when the two positions the formation needs are sorted. As it is we will just keep struggling to create good chances, it will all be half chances where we need a slice of luck or moments of individual brilliance and you can't reply on either

 

Oh and my game week is looking ok at the moment. I've got the MLS, Challenger and Contender Level 1 streaks which is $15 off the bat.

My MLS one ranked high enough to win a further $3 and my Challenger one is currently winning me $5 which hopefully holds

Also currently getting 5200 essence. There are a couple of lineups that might increase but I suspect a few will also fall. Hopefully I get atleast 4k.

Annoyingly I did have a about 8 lineups destroyed by random DNP's which are missing out on essence rewards by less than 35 points

 

You have 75% chance of getting a Standard draw, 15% chance of getting a Special T2 draw, 9.9% chance of getting a Special Star draw and 0.1% chance of getting a Special Full Star draw.

So the chances of getting a special are pretty low. The Special Star Draw at 9.9% as well is probably the worst one to get if you do get a Special as well. You are guaranteed one of the cards is a Star but the other 9 cards have slightly worse odds than a standard draw (T1-T4 are the same odds. T5 is 1% higher) so even if use the best 5 clue there is a responsible chance of these other 4 being T4 or T5 and unless your other reveals get very specific and can only point to a single Star card you are probably spending 4k essence to get a T4/5 card. Atleast the other 2 guarantee no worse than a T2 or no worse than a t1

 

Did a craft and got a standard. Used the full clues. but it wasn't really helpful as I had a a German in Bundesliga, Turkish in Turkey and Spanish in La Liga as 3 of my options. The Dane in Portugal though only had 3 cards and 2 of those were pretty good options so went with that. And actually got the best one, would cost £30 to buy

I then went to do another as I thought I had more essence than I did (I got mixed up with my common essence) and got a T2 Special which was annoying as I didn't have enough for a best 5 and only able to go with one of the other clues. I went with league, one of those was Premier League. A Premier League card seemed the most useful right now so went with that and while it wasn't the best card I could have got I'm more than happy with what I got

 

Yeah usually when it comes to both crafts and rewards I'm not very lucky, I'm the person who will get a good reward or craft a high tier card buts its the 18 year old 3rd choice keeper but both my rewards and crafting have been pretty good.


I've just had to have a big clear out of who I'm following on Sorare to make the Circle feature useful. Was following so many of the trading bots and accounts, the big soarer content creators, people I had followed in giveaways and also a load of people I followed with the old Rivals where we could challenge people that my Circle ended up being bloated and useless. I've now reduced it to people on here, people I referred and people who are following me but aren't following dozens of others

I did get the 2nd Tier MLS streak and the Premier League one but I failed to get the second level of Challenger or Contender streak. My essence wasn't great and took a hit when this mornings games upgraded a team to a card win. T2 could be hit or miss so I was a bit worried the essence would get swapped for a backup keeper. However I'm pretty happy with what I got



The only issue is obviously we have like 4 matches of the regular season in the MLS left but San Diego have qualified for the Playoffs. Seeing as I have a couple of forwards who have already been eliminated from playoff contention and a couple more who are are touch and go another striker will be useful

 

Yeah I won Murillo last season and was a constant quality card for me. Forest being a little off the pace compared to last season and the injury has hindered him so far but even when Forest lost last season he usually put up decent scores so should be a good addition.

And while it may be impacted on the fact I haven't tried going for the dutch streaks so I don't have a in-season lineup for them but I would take Zubimendi over Watanabe any day

 

Wow the later deadline has just saved me. One of my players has dropped to 0% chance of playing between 3pm and now. Luckily I was able to switch him out
