I missed out on the $50 premier league streak by second guessing myself and switching my attackers around

 

I got the second level streak on Contender and Challenger and am supposed to get the following but its not letting me claim it



Sent them a support message so hopefully they can fix it as the 100 rare essence allows me to do a rare craft (unless I wait another 15 weeks to afford some clues) and the 6800 limited essence gets me a decent number of crafts (Enough for 2 specials with all clues and 4 normal)

Plus the $10 onto of what I already had and the $10 in total I got from streaks will be useful

 

Got my rewards. Only went with 2 just incase I got a special when I wouldn't have been afford all the clues. I'm holding off on rare as well until I can afford some clues



The one I crafted and Hoxha were the two I was considering and either would have been good. Certainly happy with my choice


This one was less good. As I don't have any Eredivisie in-season I wasn't ever going for Misidjan. Batzner was an option but the two Premier League options were the mist appealing. Luke Shaw would have been the better card but I already have an in-season of him so Jesus was probably the best for me but when there were so many good options for Brazilians in the Premier League its a little disappointing

 

Interesting developments with the MLS that will have an impact on Sorare.

They have voted to move away from their February to December schedule to bring it in line with Europe. It will start in 2027 so they will play next season as normal, then they will have a shortened 2027 season from Feb to May where they will play 14 league games then the playoffs. Then in August 2027 they will start a season with their new schedule.

It also seems like rather than having an Eastern and Western Conference they will be moving to one unified league. They haven't provided any more details on this but I would assume they will still play home and away against those in their conference and then will like now play a random selection of clubs from the other conference because otherwise with 30 teams that would be a 60 game season plus then the playoffs. And that's assuming there is no more teams and when you consider that 29 states don't currently have a MLS team and even in states that have a team(s) there are big places that don't have a team. Obvious places like Vegas, San Francisco, Pheonix, Detroit, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Memphis amongst others don't have teams when you would expect them to (And while the travel would be problematic Hawaii might like a team and a couple of the Canadian Provences don't have a team)

 

In additional Apple just announced they are ending the separate MLS subscription for 2026, all games will be available via the standard AppleTV subscription so if you subscribe to that you will get all the MLS matches as well.

Makes it an even better deal as AppleTV is quality wise the best of the streaming services. It has less depth as it only has originals but the quality of the originals is great

 

Hadn't seen that but yeah apparently jleague is changing in August 26, although they are taking a 2 month winter break because winter on the North island Hokkaido can be brutal in the winter.

Supposedly like the MLS we will get a mini-league at the start of 2026 otherwise they would have from the league ending this month until August with no football.

I don't see it being long before K-League goes that way too. Inter Japan/Korean transfers are fairly common and that means Korean clubs will end up losing players midseason and also the Asian Champion League has also switched its schedule so being the outlier in Asia makes no sense for them.

I imagine also over in Central and South America they might also end up switching if they haven't. We already have some running on a more European schedule (Such as Mexico) and with the MLS switching also and the MLS bringing in many players from these leagues they will see even more talent drain midseason than Europe already causes them.

TBH with things like the World Cup, international match windows and now the club World Cup causing issues with leagues that don't fit the European schedule it makes sense for the world to switch as closely as possible (accounting for weather issues) to the European schedule

 

Just be careful not to seal too many that you might want to use next season though as unsealing them takes time

 

I hit the 3rd streak on contender for $25 and 1st in MLS for $5 so not a bad cash haul. Then I got the following

Question is do I sell him for around £30, use him in my rare lineups or play him down into my PL limited streak teams

I did some crafts as well



Curtis Jones is so so but he is also a Liverpool player so is probably getting offloaded. Wish I had gone for Scales, it was who I was draw to with the hints but the PL aspect talked me out of it. I really need to go with my gut more

My second one was



Someone at Soarer really is winding me up, first a Liverpool player and then a City one. The options there were pretty poor though

 

Even someone who scored against United is better than a Liverpool or City Player (or Leeds)

TBH I would have loved Dewsbury-Hall seeing as I'm now a player short for my in-season Everton stack seeing as Gueye will now miss 3 matches and then be off to AFCON

 

Yeah so hard to predict. Slightly easier with the Champions League where clubs are less likely to risk rotation as the money is so good (although even then you get them when the quality in opposition is so big and at this point where table position matters more) but Europa and Conference especially its almost picking by a random draw

 

So for MLS I have a full San Diego Stack, a Full Vancouver Stack, a full New York City Stack and then 4/5ths of a Miami Stack (Miami's Keeper is way too expensive to add for the rewards so I'm using another SD keeper). All are able to be submitted into In-Season

Now as long as we don't get two crazy matches surely I have place fairly well (and get the streak)


Oh and I feel dirty as it looks like I might have to play Curtis Jones
