Don't know why this chat around a new ground comes up at times.

It's not exactly a shit hole..... Have you seen the state of some of the grounds at our level and beyond... We're a 4th division team.... Least of our problems currently.

Why? We barely can afford to assemble a competitive promotion chasing squad, so a new ground?

On the balance sheets no but the owner has.

Look, getting a new stadium would require partnerships and funding from elsewhere but I am not shocked @Bronco@Bronco liked your post because he just sees things on the surface hence why he settles for failure. It's no shock he's a fan of Rhodes.

The issue is for us we just haven't had any serious owners that want to kick the club on.

I'll answer that because this isn't 1950. Off the pitch development is vital and ours is so poor that you own more than the club.

We can afford to assemble a competitive promotion chasing squad but have a manager that counts on an ipad, isn't good enough and don't have the correct recruitment set up at the club.

Look, we are not moving stadium..Seems under Rupps are are not doing anything and that's the problem right there....tick, tick...fail...fail!

    Lovely words.

Reality check, fourth division team with more than adequate stadium. Don't need one, we need leaders to lead and galvanise a plan to get out this pissing league first.

I dont think a new stadium is the best way to move us forward if I'm honest, I would like to see more investment in things like scouting and data analysis, so that whoever comes in as manager doesn't have to build everything from scratch every time. As much as people want the whole budget on the playing squad, as an example from the Bowyer era I would rather have a chief scout than have signed someone like chris taylor for example.

I agree mate. Mansfield just got Nigel Clough in and he's brought a team with him including a head of recruitment.

To let the manager do everything now is LAZY! It's poor from Rhodes that. Like now we sign someone like Levi Sutton on a 2 year contract and have no style of play.

We haven't got football identity on and off the pitch that's the problem. Players are interested in future development and direction and i am not shocked a few players have turned us down. If we don't catch up off the pitch this will be a regular thing.

We need to have an off field system in place that a new manager can slot in to with ease, rather than a whole root and branch lets build everything again now a new guys here approach. As was mentioned parky taking the scouting data with him is something a system like this would help us avoid in future.

You're also right we have no footballing identity beyond the manager of the moment, and thats provided they can even implement their ideas properly. I think this also probably feeds into wider frustrations at stuarts tinkering, as it begs the question just who are we? I think for what its worth a style for bradford city should focus on fast paced football played with a work ethic at the absolute front of everything we do. A city team should out tackle, out fight and out work the opposition as an absolute minimum for the fans to get behind them. Move the ball fast into danger areas and then we start to play. I would like to see centre mids dropping deep, showing for the ball off the centre halves and turning to make things happen, be that by stretching the play wide or moving the ball through the middle through short passing triangles with the other 2 centre mids if we go 3-5-2.
