Should we be thinking about extending Graham Alexander’s contract?

I don't think so either. Best to part ways and give someone else a go. Someone who at the very least instills some discipline into his team.

Much depends on the reasons for our implosion, the division we may be in and the money available. I think we need to play more expansive football (goals) and have a tighter defence (fewer but better quality defenders). Midfield is awful too with some donkeys in contract next year and then up front? What do we do up front? Smith, kavanagh and Cook up. SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH.

 

If we don’t go up we have to sack him as we’re just delaying the inevitable as he won’t be able to lift them next season.

 

Absolutely NOT, his constant moaning about refs has trickled down to the team.. refs decision is final ffs.. why are your players arguing with the ref… hes not going to change his mind.. just shit the f up and get on with it..

I think the worst thing about GA are the subs.

Every time we make changes we seem to get progressively worse.

And he makes loads of them, too, feels like he just spends every second half weakening us further and further until we can no longer win.

 

The discipline of this team in the last 5 or 6 games have been awful. The discipline of the players and our defence is down to the manager, 3 sending off's, including the important one of the captain and the manager himself could cost this club big time. I couldn't believe Wright taking the pen when we have players like Patison or Halliday. I could go on but I'm bloody angry.

 

It should be obvious to anyone by now that lack of discipline has cost us big time. Who is responsible for that? The bloke that's just been allowed back to the touchline after a 3 match ban.

As the thread has been deleted I'll say it here. GA needs sacking, along with RS

 

He's a decent bloke, but a limited manager. We had a great spell for a few months, but other than that, it's not been a good watch through his tenure. You can't sack him really if we go up, but failure to get promoted is failure, so for me he should be sacked if we don't.

 

I never wanted him in the first place but to his credit he's done a lot better than I expected.

However, we've had some absolute hall of shame stinkers in his spell and tend to go on streaks of winning then not winning. There's never any consistency about us and that has been the case since he came in. Add in the absolute bottle job last few months and there's too many red flags.

We can't afford these bad runs if we're in L1 next season, first priority is staying up.

I can't believe what I'm reading?, best manager we've had since Parky and we've tried plenty since then.
I'd give him a new contract regardless of what league we're in.
VP has been bouncing for the first time in a long while and GA ant his team are the reason behind that.

I'm with you on that bud , record points ever home in a season , ok away form is below par . Donny didnt come across as any great shakes today , but well done to them . Win next week and the results will speak for themselves , ie we're out of tge gutter football league , as my old man calls it .

We have had good bits and bad bits. Only reason we are in top 3 is thew whole league is poor. Any other season we wouldn't be there
