Yep, if they had announced it last week it would have been two for most people. Would have made not much difference in reality but optic wise it would have looked better

 

There is an interest free option,and a pay over 3 month option. The longer the club leave for the early bird the longer supporters hang on to buy and the club need to know what the take up is.

 

There is the very popular interest free direct debit option as an alternative to shelling out in one hit

 

How long have existing season ticket holders got to claim their seats?
Looked on the site but can't seem to find out - unless I'm dumb!!!

 

Seven weeks. Tickets then go on general sale at 10am Monday April 27th

 

Wasn't there a window last year where existing season ticket holders could move seats before going on general sale? Don't see that option this year

 

The time periods were a lot bigger last year.

 

Much more in line with the average club, let’s see if the fans ‘don’t just turn up because it’s cheap’. I’m confident our fanbase no longer does btw and am expecting a good uptake. Until we get some mega rich sugar daddy then we need to pay our way.

 

Cheers buddy, I did read that but was looking for the "Existing season ticket holders have until........" bit!

 

As mentioned by Paul Hudson, the 25 year season ticket will end next year too, so that might increase the uptake by a few hundred.

 

The club know full fine well what the uptake will be. So that doesn't wash

 

No they don’t, they can’t read minds that 16,000 will renew. Seven weeks is plenty of time to decide whether to buy a ticket. You just want to moan. Very few clubs give an interest free option as well which apparently most season ticket holders take advantage of.

 

Even clubs with a mega rich sugar daddy charge far more than us, take Huddersfield for example.

 

they are already in the numbers and can use the DD Facility so not sure what the increase will be in numbers unless you are talking actual income but as that number is never release it would be hard to judge

 

Does not look like the Club are doing this or giving existing ST holders any rights to their current seat.

I suppose it gives added incentive for fans to pay up ASAP if they want to sit where they want/ together. But it feels a little off given the lack of warning and the periods of grace given in recent years.

 

Completely agree. And I hope this is an oversight and a communication to that effect from the club is imminent.

 

What announcement have I missed something
