Yet it’s easy to berate Rupp for seemingly not investing but as a fanbase we are happy to keep accepting ridiculously low ST prices.
Would the entire current fanbase be willing to invest if prices were the same as Tranmere?

I do think there should bearing in mind that, albeit from a low starting point, the costs of season tickets will have nearly doubled in a four or five year period, affectively 20% a year for the last five years.

As others have mentioned perhaps some reward for loyalty with consideration towards a price freeze on early bird purchases or even something on a par with a £20/£30 cost difference between a renewal and a new customer. IE £279 for existing season ticket holders, £299 for new season ticket applications

New details are out. Price increases, adult tickets now £299. On sale from Thursday lunchtime. Deadline to renew at the early price is May 2nd. Deadline to renew and keep your seat is April 12th.

 

The rise was to be expected and still quite cheap in the context of modern day football. I'm glad they've frozen U12s and U17s as we need to keep them if we want to keep big attendances in the future.

Matchday tickets are going up as well which was also likely as they have been £20 for a while and bit by bit £20 tickets in league 2 have become less common and will be even less so if we are in league 1, however, I do think upping them to £24 in advance and £28 on the day is quite a lot.

I'm not gonna be rushed by the club, so that deadline pushes me closer to non-renewal.
