Oh dear. Think this is completely a wrong business decision. Yes I understand that times are hard and people are struggling but at some stage the season tickets will have to go up and fairly substantially if we gain promotion next season or more importantly promotions back to back and would be best for season tickets holders to have a gradual increase and not a massive sudden one or 2. Also look at some of the other League 2 and National league prices. Personally think this is a totally wrong decision by the club and let’s be fair true CITY fans would find a little more next season even in these hard times as we all know it helps the club big style.

I don’t think many City fans would have sniffed at an extra £30 or £40 knowing we’ll be under the steady stewardship of Hughes.

That extra income could have been the difference to secure automatics.

All it’s and buts I know, but it’s hard not to feel that the club have missed a trick here.

Fans paid extra this year for an improved playing budget and we assembled an awful squad, not sure another increase would have been smart.

    Completely the right decision.

Fuel cost at an all time high.

Gas and electric going through the roof.

    Inflation at a significant high.

Wage rise no where near inflation.

Some people would have a serious decision to make if ST's had also gone up.

Tough economic times lie ahead for us all. It would be complete madness to bang up prices by even £40.

Well done City for reading the current mood and economic climate.

As it stands at this moment in time it would have been business suicide to put in a price increase. We are facing the worst economic sanctions for a generation and the football on show has generally been appallling. And you think we need a price increase right now? Each to their own I guess

Edwin, you might be in a position to absorb the massive increase in fuel, energy and food costs but it is going to hit many people hard. It is totally the right decision for next season - hopefully it will be a good one under Hughes and then we can reassess from a better position

    Totally disagree.

A good decision by the club in light of the current economic situation and hardship that many families will endure.

We had an increase last season, and the season panned out to be woeful, still only 2 home wins at home since August.

I cannot honestly remember when we had so few home wins on the board by April in all the years I've watched them.

Freezing the prices is the least they could have done for us.

Hopefully now, most fans will renew and maybe we can attract some more back to the fold.

The time for further significant increases is when we get out of this awful 4th tier

As I say understand what you say. My point is a small gradual increase would have been right imo and helped the situation as Stefan openly made a point the other day that the club has to be run as a competitive business and just feel fans would have accepted a small increase to help the cause.

    15,000 a £30. Around half a million extra money.

We don’t have 15,000 and probably never have done if you only count full paying adults. An increase isn’t going to increase sales, certainly not at the business school I went to.

I've no problem with the price staying the same.

But... FFs get the right players in.. GET IT RIGHT! More fans will pay on the day.

I think the fans will rally round Mark Hughes and we will see this seasons take up surpassed next season, that in its self is a great achievement considering in the coming year the price of gas, electric, petrol, council tax, food, interest rates will increase increasing mortgages, your wage rise will be no where near keeping up with talk of 10% inflation, we all see things differently last season tickets were increased 33% I believe @bantamdave41@bantamdave41 corrected me ;) we were once again given the promotion spiel and see ourselves nearer a relegation battle that a top 7 place, sorry @EdwinB@EdwinB I can't agree anyone with a family are going to find 2022 very hard and an increase in season ticket price's might be the straw that broke the camels back these are the fans we need to encourage to bring their children down to Valley Parade.

Right decision by the club, cost of living is only going to get higher. With the commercial team doing so well they will need attendances to stay around the same level they are now to give them the best chance of retaining these new sponsors at a price that is probably the higher or at least very near the highest in the league.

Right decision. We will lose some season ticket holders, who cannot afford to pay the same again, as it is.

There is always the 1903 Club for those who want to pay extra.
