I must admit, this is doing my head in now. My release valve is training and the gym or a run about with the rugby lads or football lads on an evening and i miss it badly. Its weird i've not missed the football but have missed the build up to it and the craic on here and TCA afterwards. My lad did say something that i agree with and thats watching a game at VP in the sunshine is a miss, especially after watching absolute shite in freezing conditions for months.

The build up of anticipation before the resumption of the season, if it happens will be immense. Like a new season, but from a points perspective we could actually have a run at the playoffs. Injury problems cleared, players rested, pitch will be in much better condition, a chance for McCall to actually get some ideas across in training before we play again. We’ll all be dead excited.

It’ll last about 90 seconds, when Akpan pulls out of a 50/50, Mellor gets done in a 1 on 1, O’Connor steps in and lumps a long ball for Novak to miss-control and Connolly to chase eagerly, but fruitlessly as the ball runs back into touch. You look at the bench and see Jermaine Anderson and Kurtis Guthrie. ‘Bring back Covid’.

I reckon most over 70's would be in better health than some between 50-60 years I've seen coughing and spluttering all the way back up to Manningham Lane but fordy seems to have it in because that age group has been singled out as a high risk group but he forgets to add all the other groups of every age who suffer from various illnesses or have recently had treatments. It just shows how very little fordy knows about anything.

Reeves passing it 5 yards sideways then runs 5 yards to collect the ball then passes a 5 yards. Pulls out of a 50/50. Looks busy but really utter sh@te.

    Rupp no showing every match.

Rhodes sat there without an idea to move the club forward.

Over 70's that should be at home! Hmmm not sure if I am ready to go back.

"106-year-old Connie Titchen was clapped by hospital staff as she headed home after recovering from coronavirus.

The great-grandmother, believed to be Britain's oldest patient to recover from Covid-19, left City Hospital in Birmingham after receiving treatment there for three weeks.

She was admitted to the hospital with suspected pneumonia and doctors later confirmed she had coronavirus.

“I feel very lucky that I’ve fought off this virus. I can’t wait to see my family,” she said.

Connie was born in September 1913 and lived through two World Wars."

The way to start back is to.
    1. Season ticket holders only no Away fans.
    2. Make a Govt directive not to allow over 70s into football grounds for their own good.
    3. Sign up every over 70 to Ifollow or broadcast the lot on Sky free to air for them.
    4. Allow a max of 5000 season ticket holders in VP on an alternate home game basis Then the other 5000 watch on Ifollow then reverse it for the next home game. 5000 spread around VP should meet social distancing rules.
5 Arrive at ground well in advance and file into the stadium going straight to your seat.
Maintain that seat throughout the game. Loo stops supervised by stewards.
    6. File out of the stadium maintainig social distancing up to Manningham lane. Go to your car or bus go home.
Follow these simple Instructions and football comes back first week of June.
    Oh yes ! Forgetting
    7. Wear a face mask or perhap we could issue those in City colours? - marketing opportunity going forward ! ?

They don't make um like that no longer, same as Captain Tom Moore wanted to raise £1000 towards the NHS and it's now at £9 million, even though we are going though some very dark times the British public shell out there brass fantastic gesture, these guys have been there done it and have medals to prove it, good for them, true hero's.

Wonder what they'll do with the money? An amazing feat of generosity by the public but doesn't go far in the NHS.

It is about a quarter of a nurse per hospital for the year, so about an hour a day extra

It's a bit unfair on us over 70s, if I buy my ticket for £150 just to retain my seat for the following season, that's 150 down the pan, I have sat there for years, and don't want to lose it, so what do I do?

Just ask yourself who else would want your seat, all next seasons ticket holders will be the likes of us that have suffered over the last few years and renewing as a habit, there's plenty of room for any (unlikely) new fans..

I was chatting to one of my mates who is part of our group who go to VP every other week. None of us live within an hours drive of VP and it can be a chore driving to Bradford. This particular mate lives on the far side of Chester. We've concluded that going to game is really the only opportunity the group gets together for someting to eat and a drink. VP is simply the catalyst to do that. (One of the 6 doesn't even go to VP now but still meets up with us before the game!) The lockdown has made it clear to all of us that we shouldn't be using VP as the the reason to meet up but should do it anyway. I can see us looking at the regular visit to VP very differently in the future.

£9m? Nothing. £9m the NHS going for about half an hour. If the public wanted to make a difference they’d get off their arses, stop eating shit and not get type 2 diabetes which costs about £15bn a year. There’s an above knee amputation every week just at my local hospital.

There is a debate to be had about how resources are spent. But where do we draw the line with the public making a difference? Helicopter going to treat ramblers who've fallen while walking? People injured playing sports? Drug addicts OD'ing on smack or herion? Drunks addicted to alcohol? We could go on forever. I don't know the answer to that one.

Might be a drop in the ocean as far as the NHS is concerned but it’s a fantastic effort from the old guy
