If you don't understand the importance of a plan in business then whatever you do don't ever own one.

Agree. The most proven formula for success isn’t exactly rocket science. Recruit a decent manager and give him the tools to do the job. Not sure how that constitutes as a plan but it’s mighty effective.

Oh I get it I just don’t understand why supporters are so obsessed with it. Do you all go to greggs and say I’m not buying a pie until I’ve checked out your business plan? Maybe you do.

To be honest, just spending 5 hours today sat around doing Eff all , waiting for bugger all, is enough for me to renew

You could always go bog roll hunting. It’s probably not that much different. Out in a crowd getting frustrated and finishing up empty handed.

Just like to know if my club has a long term future plan rather than flailing away pointlessly in the lower leagues. It might not be a thought of everyone and I get that, Im just not one of those fans that's gonna turn up and watch league 2 football years down the line just because the tickets are cheap and I'm happy to have a club to support.

When Herr Dick und Liddy rolled into town with their 5 year plan to reach the Premiership, I think most fans were initially pleased, that we were planning for the medium to long term. We know how that turned out, but if things were tweaked instead of demolished it might have happened.
At the moment it’s a 3 month plan with nothing from the club beyond that. Where’s the incentive other than blind loyalty to buy another ST?
Now might be a good time for a buyer/consortium to approach Rupp, without the distraction of the week to week games getting in the way.

In truth the club is worth knack all and any potential investor knows this. Thats why we've never had anyone truly interested in investing in this club bar a charlatan and his duped business associate. The McBurnie money is the only reason Rupp is still around, another payment from Sheffield United will dictate him staying for a little longer as he recoups some of the money lost. When that has dried up i expect him to making plans to sell up, but he'll be in for a shock at what valuation these 'investors' would put on the club.

With regards the present situation and what might happen going forward I would hope any fan who can afford too renew in the near future, show your commitment to YOUR club and let's hope us showing support in present situation our club will not be one that folds.

Pay for it on your credit card, if the club goes under you have some redress as was the case with some 25 year season ticket holders.

I think they should suspend sales for the time being and relaunch when things are clearer

I don’t think there are many sales to suspend.

I fear that with football shutting down people will find other things to do, the virus will dominate everything, and they'll just forget about renewing or just not bother until the situation about this and next season becomes clearer. That will apply to all clubs and might have very far-reaching consequences.

You may be right but, if I remember my history correctly, did not football enjoy a boom period after the second world war shutdown.

Yes, there was a huge boom in all forms of entertainment after 1945. But I still think there is a real threat to the viability of many clubs and, indeed, sports. I've just heard the chairman of St. Helens on the radio who is fearing for the survival of Rugby League.
