    I'm away for Lincoln game but my dad wants to use my season ticket. Will it work if I email it to him and he saves it to his google wallet? I know this might sound a daft question to some but I'm not sure how else I can do it.

    Yeah, should work fine. Alternatively screenshot it and send him as a picture. That also works

    There was a thing from the club about not being able to use a screenshot of a season ticket to gain access.

    Absolute tosh.

    The scanner just picks up a QR code.
    It has no idea where in your phone it is.

    At the last game a ticket in front of me wouldn’t scan after a few attempts.
    The young lady just let the bloke in as a queue was forming.

    And it works pretty much for all home and away matches, which is why it puzzles me that some teams still insist on paper tickets which have to be collected or posted out. Over the last couple of seasons I've scanned all my paper tickets into my phone wallet and they've all worked fine (e.g. Stevenage away on Saturday).

    At the Barnsley game, I used the Apple Wallet and it wouldn’t accept it. Fortunately I had my physical card with me too so got in but the wallet fail was concerning.

    Agree with @Tennesseebantam@Tennesseebantam . Went to the Barnsley home game, used my Phone wallet, only to have it rejected at two turnstiles. As I hadn’t brought my plastic one, I was eventually directed to the main Stand entrance and a member of staff escorted me to a turnstile and got me through. The turnstile operators and security staff suggested I went to the Ticket office!!! Previously it had worked at every other earlier match!
    Will have my plastic one with me for tomorrow night.
    So from taking a screen shot last season to loading the official QR code from the e-mail this season, then issues have arisen.

    I've used the QR code loaded to my Google wallet for every home game I've attended (plus various away ones when it allows) and never had a problem TB.

    I don't even have a physical card though so if the issues you had are more widespread I imagine it could cause some seriously angry fans, especially down at MR where I sit as a trek to the ticket office would have me missing a fair portion of the first half.

    If there’s ever a time when the scanners won’t scan people’s tickets in digital wallets we’d have a major issue.

    As a result of the issues I have had at the last two games, I got in touch with the Ticket office. They sent through a fresh QR code. As suggested, I deleted the one I had loaded in the Summer and replaced it with the new one. So I will see how I get on, on Saturday. I have the plastic one in reserve.

    That works in Bantams Bar too. They scan it and it doesn’t work, they scan again still doesn’t work so they panic and just wave you in. As there’s no turnstiles to count you in, nobody ever knows.
    Even includes a pie / pint

    and an extra tip, if you use a Nando rewards card you get extra spicy sauce on your Balti pie

    Not had a problem with my Apple Wallet so far!! Surely if it was a major issue they would have informed us and have a solution beyond telling us to trek to the ticket office??

    I had a case a couple of games ago where I have two cards in my Google wallet, one scanned the other wouldn't lol. Just let me through as there was a queue forming. Never happened before or since.

    I’ve seen it at a number of home games.They try to scan,it fails a couple of times.
