Don't really understand why people are against this. Not like it would take up the whole ground. You could easily sit somewhere else.

Maybe it is the cost involved when we are struggling financially. Plus as with always people are protective of their seats, just look at the complaints if it is suggested moving people for a single match.

Alternatively maybe it is because it isn't safe. They have had to amend the current safety rules regarding minimum height of barriers to get it to work

Not against it per say, but I am now used to sitting so wouldn't change. I also dont believe it is worth the cost.

Perhaps those that wanted to do it, could form some sort of club and actually fund it.

If Bingley Bantams could pay towards refurbishing one of the suites and crowd funding pay for the scoreboard/changing rooms, then perhaps raise some money to pay for it!

The ‘atmosphere’ group are the obvious candidates.

Now whether they could get their act together remains to be seen.

Perhaps we could just concentrate on building a squad capable of winning promotion and leave well alone with things that don't need changing just because a few folk want to harp back to the 1980's and stand at football ?

Absolutely not l think he should divert any funds into strengthening the squad, rather than ‘safe standing’.

This is five years old, but gives an indication on the cost difference for ‘rail seats’.

‘Depending on the number of seats, currency exchange rates and a few other variables, the ball park figure is around £80 per seat. By comparison, a top-of-the-range conventional grandstand seat might cost around £60, while cheap and cheerful budget seats come in at around £30. So rail seats aren’t cheap’. https://www.joe.co.uk/sport/safe-standing-qa-91188

It was realy tongue in cheek, as yourself any monies available should go on team strengthening.

Yes and they'd be less for them to break and throw on the lower tier.

I'd rather they changed the whole ground to safe standing than spend any more money on the garbage that we've been bringing in lately.

I suppose if keeps the forum ticking over but most realise it ain't going to happen, and certainly not if the tenant has to pay for the safe standing.

To be fair, we already have a default standing section in the North West Upper. If people wanna stand, go up there.

    Bottom tier Bradford End….Bingo……

No one has to move from their favoured seat and make use of a wasted space

Good noise carrier for the songster?

Segregation could be sorted with access to the upper tier from the Midland Rd side end block with a walkway across?

Gives home fans an extra block on Midland Rd?

    Job done.
