One question is do Swansea have to tell City what the terms are and payment plan? As it is commercially sensitive I’d be surprised if they did. Yes they would have to inform the league who would then make sure payments were correct but not until after the fact.

    Always backed Bowyer.

But confidence in him has totally gone. Bizzare tactics and substitutions. Saturday think palmer deserves to be kept on.

Regardless of 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 his playing style ends up so negative.

Always sees a draw as a positive.

He is so underachieving with his current squad....I say his as he brought most of them in

No. They rely on the honesty of the receiving club ;) That's not a serious comment.

As you say, the terms between the buying and selling club are confidential between themselves and in this case the PL and EFL. Instead, the EFL does it on behalf of the club and as the payments are processed through the EFL, the sell-on component is calculated and paid directly to the club by the EFL. Given the importance of this to our club, I'd be surprised if we hadn't 'reminded' the EFL that we were due a share of the transfer fee!

I think there's a considerable majority of people on here who would love to see the back of Bowyer and no one hates his turgid football, bizarre recruitment and overall poor management more than me. But I've come to the view that it's probably too late to sack him this season. All we can do is hope that the return of more creative players brings better results, and that the players somehow work out for themselves how to score, because Bowyer certainly doesn't know how to coach them. And if we do go up it will be inspite of him not because of him.
I've also got a sneaky feeling there might be more transfer activity for us than we think in this window. The dominoes will be getting set up and they will start to fall in the next week.

Going by what we have watched over the last few months I wouldn't give a penny to Bowyer. His tactics will make sure no players would be effective in his team. No amount of activity will improve this side. It's the manager and his tactics that need to change, not the personnel. I would personally keep any budget available for the next manager. It would be wasted on this Charlatan.

I thought last night was a positive result but once again I am hugely concerned by the level of performance and team dynamic.

I note there has been a further shift towards Bowyer Out on this poll and whilst this is only from 200+ BT members it does offer an insight as to the feeling of the over all fan base.

Whether you are a results matter or concerned over performance/tactics fan, everyone appears to be in agreement that the midfield needs strengthening. The WOAP summary of the recent media forum suggests that monies are available for team strengthening, in that case why is GB/the club not appearing to do anything to address this area?

I'm not sure I heard that statement from anyone at the club at the start of the season, stop making stuff up.

I very much doubt the club would consider changing the manager if we dont go up, I never read the club stating promotion was a part of his two year deal, it's just the interpretation of some fans, no more no less.

Maybe they are? They wont do it in the glaring eye of the public. Its difficult to get loanees in when you're almost at capacity so only option is to buy. Then the issue becomes availability. Case in point, last years pursuit of a target man. Sam Surridge was one, Bournemouth made him unavailable. There was another one who didnt want to move north and another who chose to go elsewhere. In the end we didn't sign one because there were none to available sign. January is a sellers market.

If you think Rhodes and the board are a set of losers the why would you think otherwise. You defend them but make them sound like a right set of weak bunch.

3 teams go up automatically, we've just come down, a big budget and in a weak league.. of course automatic promotion is the aim!

Teams are not willing to sell to other to fix their problems.. Bradford City would be mad for example to sell Doyle to Swindon to help them and solve their issues.

See Swindon had recalled Yates (@wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler had a feeling this wouldn't happen) .. This window isn't about helping others.

Our squad is good enough. We are underachieving.

Bowyer and Drury need to coach better but for me they're the problem. A major problem to the club moving forward. They need to work on things- the squad is fine.

Is it a forum rule I'm not allowed to support my club and people who run both the football and non football sides, a different opinion to yours, which I'm more than happy to have.

Well Rhodes and Rupp's appointed Bowyer and in other cases Rhodes appointed other managers and messed up.

They is no kind of structure on the pitch.

Rhodes appoints managers with different playing styles meaning the next manager has mush mass of players to work with.

Only thing Rhodes cares about is the season ticket sales. The club is getting wrecked!

It's a club going nowhere under Bowyer or Rhodes to that matter. If Rhodes cared he would sack Bowyer!

Going nowhere eh ?, fancy a £10 bet, I'll bet you we get promoted at the end of this season, fancy backing your opinion up with a tenner.

I don't think it is, if Bowyer takes this squad up automatically then he deserves huge credit, up any way and he deserves credit. How can this squad be good enough when it can't, collectively, control a football as well as Mansfield/Morecambe/Scunthorpe etc?

TBh the footie is so bad I don't care if he is sacked but I work with loads of City fans, none are active on here AFAIK and I don't think one of them wants him sacked.:@/

A general lack of apathy is coming to the fore though I believe.
You'll always have your core support, but Jnr's Bradford City philosophy certainly in recent history is to try and generate 18K+ crowds on the back of cheap season tickets. The fair weather supporter for whom Jnr attempts to rely on is becoming les reliable and especially so if we stop in the basement division.

The squad has built this aura of being good enough when in truth its never actually showed this so called potential. I'd argue in many cases our skillset as a team has looked the poorer of the teams playing contrary to the views of many of our supporters who think this squad is better than it actually is. That said, failure to win promotion with this set of players in my eyes means Bowyer must walk at the end of the season.

    Boos ring round old Trafford.

Every man and his dog know that Ole isn't right for Manchester Utd and needs to go. @StaffordBantam@StaffordBantam do you agree? Utd are extremely poor, a poor, poor side.

600m spent, 30 points behind Liverpool.. no identity now!

    Woodwood needs to go!

Every day that goes by Utd are wasting their time and fans of other teams laugh while Ole is at the wheel

Every day Bradford stick with Bowyer and Rhodes we're wasting our time and other teams laugh at us! They need to go!
