Unfortunately the potential buyers price and the asking price are, lets say, somewhat different.

 

It could happen again but i doubt it. The only people interested in buying this club know what this club is about and know its true worth, i guess all it takes is a couple of gullible clueless Germans to turn up with a suitcase full of cash and 'know football'.

Look, in Jan when we should of been concentrating on signing decent players the board and media were talking about 2m debt.

It wasn't a 2m debt but we will spend 1m to help keep the club up. It was Hopkin trying to reduce costs and upsetting the team.

For me Jan spoke volumes! Rupp good of gone for it but didn't and we end would with the pointless signings like Billy Clarke

It feels at the minute as though we are waiting until the end of May for everything and no future planning is taking place.

We have an interim manager. An interim ceo. A chairman who wants to sell but will keep financing it with no real commitment towards next season. Can the owners not see why people don’t want to renew? What are they renewing for? The die hard will always renew but no disrespect the die hard s are not the ones who will help finance a push next season. We need the floating fans to come back and a signal of intent in some way would persuade a few.

If Rupp is waiting for a buyer, he is running the club down until he sells it in my eyes with all this short termism. Set the club up for the next 2 years minimum and there will be interest.

Realistically any purchase you make over £100 you should always use your credit card and then you obtain section 75.Thus the credit card company are jointly and severally liable for any breach of contract.
Ive done this purchasing cars/kitchens etc, where even if you just pay the deposit on a CC you are covered for the total purchase.

 

I wonder what's going through Rupp's mind. After today it's clear we're relegated so does he just bail out in the most advantageous way for himself, take the hit and put it down to experience. Or might he realise, despite the fact that he has no real interest in football, that City have the potential to be a championship club and if he continues to back us we could actually get him his money back in a few season's time.

 

He walks, simple as that I think. By all accounts he can take the financial hit and in his shoes I would do exactly the same. Why would he do otherwise? He has no interest in football and was 'sold a pup' by his ex mate Rahic. He will not bail us out and nor will anyone else. To imagine that there is some wealthy individual out there willing to throw money at this club is pure fantasy. It hasn't happened before and will never will. BCFC is simply not big or sexy enough for that to happen.
