What a terribly sad story. The thought of him alone through the night with the effects of what appears to have been a serious head before it finally took him is heartbreaking. I know Kenny could seem to be in his own world at times but I can't imagine his last hours and what he was going through. It's just so very sad.

So sad, i just hope the police can piece things from earlier in the day together to find out what happened in the first place to end up in hospital. Where he was found is a fair way from hospital and going away from town/ground, but guess it all depends on time he left hospital and where he was heading and if he was still feeling affects of whatever happened ealier in the day.

Been seeing Kenny on the kop concourse for many years. It will be strange not seeing him around. A loyal Bantam. RIP.

Sadly, Kenny was recognised by so many but no one was looking out for him. You often watched him arrive late in the stands at away games, he always had a smile on his face, happy that City had good support.

I am convinced the ref checked with both keepers and then looked to see if Kenny was in the ground before blowing the whistle for kick off. RIP Kenny.

Nice if some of his friends placed a poignant carrier bag with picture of Kenny next to the main stand memorial?

RIP Kenny, always saw him at away games with his bag.. I remember from the Shipley Bantams days he was pleasant enough and was always smiling.

Hope they get to the bottom of what's happened for his family's sake, I've been through something similar myself and it's fecking horrible.

    Thoughts are with them

    Truly heartbreaking,

He will have woke up that morning nice and early excited for another City away day.

What appears like a freak accident occurs and his life is over, way too soon.

I didn’t know him, but I recognise the face and my Dad knows him from home & away games through the 80s and 90s.

Thoughts are with his family and friends through this dreadful time.

Hopefully his spirits looking down can keep us up this season and he’ll be celebrating up there.

    RIP :(

Well today we will find out what the club really thinks about its fans, Kenny was a dedicated fan of the club over many many years, If they cannot recognise his sad passing in some way even on the large screen then it will show what us fans mean to the club, Am sure they will do something surely

That has already been addressed by @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler earlier in this thread.
Recognition will be made at last home game of the season to all who left us during the last year.

Yes read that and not good enough bundled together till next year, The annual recognition is fine but in some cases a mention should be made when it happens then remembered at the annual last match, This I believe is such a case, The absence of anything on the website and if no mention today you will know that in the scheme of things you mean jack shit to the club

I emailed the club in regards to a minutes silence or a tribute on the screen, with no response. I understand if I passed away, as a 22 year old who has only been a season ticket holder for 10 years, I would get a little mention in May, that's understandable, but a loyal, just short of 30 year season ticket holder, deserves bigger respect than that!

There was a brief message from the club on the screen at half time.

BantamJS I agree with you. I emailed David Jagger who wrote the article in the T&A about Kenny. A politely written email asking for him to enquire with the club re: a mention or mark of respect for Kenny. Exactly the same..... no reply - completely ignored!

Just shows what kind of world we live in nowadays! I'm 36 it's a shame when the younger generation try to keep up to respect and tradition and get ignored - especially when the club are quick to point the finger at younger fans who behave badly e.g: the disorder at Rochdale.

I was pleased to see Kenny on the big screen today but he deserved more. Not many on here could say they have been to as many games as Kenny has (all those Tuesday night aways down south).

RIP Kenny god bless you. May you be remembered and never forgotten.

It would be nice if one or two City legends turn up at his funeral. e.g. Stuart, Ces Podd & Gary Jones. He'd like that. None of the current lot though. They don't deserve supporters like Kenny.

The club can be poor on email responses. I posted back in August that I only found out Friday (before Saturday game) that we had been accepted into suites for youngests birthday despite emailing a month before!!
