    Barnsley Fan in peace
I’ve just heard the terrible news regarding Kenny, me and my lad were walking up to the ground and saw Kenny stumble and then fall to the ground, hitting his head on the ground, another Barnsley supported ran and got a mounted policeman who sent for the ambulance, it really shook us both up and certainly puts football in to perspective,
RIP Kenny, thoughts are with his family

Well our dear and loyal supporter is been laid to rest today. Funeral taking place in around an hour or so I believe, so may you rest in peace and I'm sure you'll be casting your eye and hope on us for the rest of the season.

Kenny was well known for never missing a game, home or away. I last saw him at the Interchange the day City were at Blackpool. He hadn't booked and the coach was full, the trains were on strike and he was really upset because he would miss the game.

He'll be up there now having a pint with Halfpee, Paul Relton and 'Loony' Les, served of course by Peter Dunkin.

    RIP little fella :(

Deaf Kenny RIP. I went on plenty of trips with him from the Corn Dolly, he was City through and through. My favourite moment though was at Rotherham just before kick off and there was a minute's silence going on. He walked in down the stairs and started shouting Come On City. A lot of people tried to shhhh him but to no avail.

What a terribly sad story. The thought of him alone through the night with the effects of what appears to have been a serious head before it finally took him is heartbreaking. I know Kenny could seem to be in his own world at times but I can't imagine his last hours and what he was going through. It's just so very sad.

Very sad I've seen him on the Corn Dolly coach the odd time.

My first encounter with him was during THAT away game at Hull. He was next to me on the terraces, we said our hellos just before kick off, and next time I looked, he was on the pitch (with his bag) leading the invasion :)

Always saw him in the Corn Dolly pre match, and always made me chuckle thinking about him (and many others) being chased off the pitch by stewards.
    RIP.

Sorry Carts but the Club just does not do this.
What we do actually do, like many other Clubs, is remember all those who have passed at the last home game of each season in conjunction with the Fire Tribute. Everton, for example do their tribute to those passed on the last home game of every calendar year and that collective arrangement is better.

Poor Kenny. I remember him well from my time travelling with The Shipley Bantams. A really nice, gentle bloke who was City through and through. R.I.P.

Sadly, Kenny was recognised by so many but no one was looking out for him. You often watched him arrive late in the stands at away games, he always had a smile on his face, happy that City had good support.

I am convinced the ref checked with both keepers and then looked to see if Kenny was in the ground before blowing the whistle for kick off. RIP Kenny.

Nice if some of his friends placed a poignant carrier bag with picture of Kenny next to the main stand memorial?

That has already been addressed by @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler earlier in this thread.
Recognition will be made at last home game of the season to all who left us during the last year.

    Sad news.

Talked to Kenny at many away games all over the country.

I'll certainly miss him and his carrier bag.

    A true City fan.

    RIP Kenny

I was lucky (or unlucky depending on which way you look at it) that me and my dad went just about everywhere with City from the mid-80’s until my eldest daughter was born in 2002. Kenny was one of them blokes that you saw everywhere, whether it was a local derby at Huddersfield on a Saturday or Bournemouth away on a Tuesday night. Always had a bag, always had a smile. RIP mate

Sad news, Kenny was a life long City fan well known at away games carrying his ‘duty free’.

RIP Kenny you will be missed
