What a flippin ace pub interior the Adelphi has! My late dad used to spend a lot of time "enjoying" himself there, nice to sit out front too in summer, never eaten there but will give it a try now, cheers.

It's an absolute looker, and recently had a 250k makeover. (Had never been in before so not sure what's changed.)

Best value meals in Bradford, always excellent food too, go on Mon-Weds and spin the roulette wheel for up to 36% off your total bill.
Clientele in the casino area leaves quite a lot to be desired tho'.
My wife says I am wannabe snob.

I don't want value, I want good food, ambience, subdued lighting and I want to pay a bundle for it to forget I am Bratfud..............join the snob club.:) Er, not being snobby but Napoleans looks like a 1988 wine bar, not sure it's changed since my girlfriend was a croupier.

I've heard loads of good food reports for Napoleans. If it's any comfort I thought the clientele in the Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds would be upmarket. Blokes in Hugo Boss suits and women in cocktail dresses, but nope, even there tracky bottoms and Sports Direct best rule.

I'm in the VGC weekly. Just the usual football fans really (can be annoying at times) . Screens everywhere and lads watching the football and gambling. Always packed when I'm in must be making some coin.

    https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/18288131.brewdog-open-new-branch-bradford---reds-true-barbecue-running-kitchen/

    Good luck to it.:)

But the Bierkeller failed there, Spoons, the haunt of students UK wide, failed up there too, just about everything has. I am struggling to identify the footfall, students probably won't pay Brewdog prices, for older people (like me:)) it's a marooned destination, isolated from Ivegate & North Parade. But it's a top company so must have identified something?

And wow! They are expecting a lot from a GM on £26K!

When I've been in they never have enough staff on at busy times so I pre-load at The Templar. I don't know why I like being in casinos as I don't gamble.:brig: Have you eaten there?

Must be getting in early for the Odeon re-opening.

Despite their brash marketing style I think it's a good addition, especially with Reds on board too. (Never eaten in one, but they seem to have done OK and are the kind of offering you should be able to find in any decent city centre.)

Two operations running from the same site = half the risk?

    Cautiously optimistic about this.

I'd be more optimistic if or when the Odeon does ever open. Still have my doubts,it is Bradford after al!.
