    I don't think there's any doubt,we're down.

That means less income from EFL and less
season ticket sales so our situation is requiring
a solution and it looks like it's down to the fans
to help pick the club up.Question is will we?

There's no doubt we will need league one investment
If we want to get out of league two at first attempt.

That means fans biting the bullet and buying season
tickets to give the club the chance to improve the
squad to get straight back up.Will we?

I think we mostly agree we need to get rid of the whole
squad and start again in the summer but this time with
    a manager who "knows football".

The summer may well define the future of our club.

The last time we went down into this league we appointed half decent managers and failed. Went the director of football route and failed miserably. Got parky and went up and the rest of history

It’s not easy to get it right and can take time to build a decent side

I’ll probaly buy a season ticket but i’d probably not attend unless the in laws were coming up for a weekend.

It's going to be difficult to rebuild the entire squad this summer. But I remain cautiously optimistic.

It's a long rebuilding process we have ahead of us and the club will need our support.

I was watching Gillette Soccer Saturday yesterday and we had a commentator at the ground in Midland Road. As the 3rd and 4th goals from Blackpool went in I could see the lower kop emptying. I think maybe we're back to attendances of 10-12000 on average next season... but I hope I'm wrong. Next season needs to be a fresh start, both fans and club need to wipe the slate clean when we start our rebuilding process.

I'm optimistic and excited for next season as we've literally nothing else to lose, next season cannot be as bad as this season.

Whatever happens next season, I'm confident we're going to be in League 2 so it's time for the club to start planning, these players we have had their chances at Bradford City and the majority of them don't deserve our club colours, time to get them out and start rebuilding. I suspect a few will have relegation release clauses anyway so this'll help trim the fat.

Plenty of "undecided" fans would re purchase season tickets if we had a recovery plan
and the powers that be are shooting themselves firmly in the foot by not at least issuing a blue print of how they intend to rebuild this club of ours
The silence is not only deafening it's also proving very costly

We need to get back to the Bradford DNA we've moved away from over these past few years.

Prioritise character, desire, physical attributes and personality. If anybody says we're not "fancy" enough then we need to instantly remind them of what the trade off is.

We need a manager who "gets it" and will build a team of proper men who will primarily put their body on the line all over the pitch. We also need to have a bit of patience to let's plans come to fruition if they're on the right track.

No more weak minded and weak bodied players and we'll get the atmosphere back into the club.

One thing for sure (regardless of season ticket prices) if as many are now coming to terms with we are a league two side next season anything less than a play off place would alienate even more fans, so the powers that be need to sit down and see what sort of finance is needed for us to be there or there abouts, although there are no guarantees.
Stefan needs to be aware of next seasons finacial commitments, unless someone else takes the reigns.

We go down and we try and come back up. Not much else we can do. It’s hardly the end of the world (unless we go into admin and go bust). Clubs have good and bad seasons, this has been particularly bad but I’m hopeful that the main cause, ER, has gone now so we will be in a stronger position this summer than last (even if we are in a division lower).

My only concern is the manager, it would be good if we had that sorted by June, as that would be a serious road block to any planning/squad building if we’re managerless again.

Back to basics, 4-4-2. Two wingers, one lightning fast winger and the other winger a bit slower but more skillful. A big target man up front with a smaller more skillful partner at his side. Two big nasty barstewards in central defense. A proven team captain in midfield, he doesn't need to be quality but he needs to be passionate and have a high work rate.

We are already at 10k attendance or thereabouts. Relegation will trim 3k off that at least.

We'll still have 10-13,000 next year. Even at our lowest in league 2 we managed that.

Until relegation is mathematically certain they can’t and won’t say anything.

I don't really get the mindset of 'fans' waiting for investment news or some sort of magical panacea before buying their STs for next season. If you're a city fan then you buy your tickets and you come to the games, whatever league the club is in. You take the good times with the bad and you support your team. We just have to hope that the recruitment lesson has been learned this year and we kick off with some backbone warriors next season.

Look relegation won't necessarily be a bad thing

As we've seen from Blackpool and Doncaster in the past you can bounce back with largely the same players. MK Dons and Bury look like doing the same - both spent more than an us last season and got relegated and have now had to keep soem of those players, who actually 'night and day' in terms of performance improvement (i.e. Kieran Agard)

Of course it all depends on the attitude at the top. Immediately after relegation Winkleman bullishly told everyone they'd have the best budget of anyone and sounded so upbeat, you'd think they'd been promoted

Or there's the Northampton / Notts County / Leyton Orient route - we did something not too dissimilar last time, I don't think there's a need to think we'll do that again

I see Rupp needing us to bounce back and so will back us for a promotion push. He has no choice, it's going to cost him money to do anything else.

Maybe try and get Parkie back as manager with McCall as coach.

I too find the lack of perception puzzling. The investment will be, that we'll have about half a dozen players on L1 wages. Some of these do look like there is a semblance of a good player, if they get a bit of confidence

Relegation will be devastating, but by default - we'll have a decent squad as like MK Dons and Bury have found. Even now six of MK Dons team who were getting stuffed like us at this time last year are in the squad who won on Saturday - four even started

I can't see Rupp doing anything stupid. He realises the error he made and like with typical German pragmatism, he'll plan to put it right

According to Parker this morning, he is hopeful there is going to be a 'statement of intent' from the club within the next 48 hours.

There are no positives to going down. Relegation is abject failure and should be treat as such. Thats not to say we can’t gain promotion next season but as it stands we have no advantage over any other club in league 2. As for MK Dons and Bury spenidng more than us, don’t be so sure, Rahic has spent a lot more than people think, we have some very good earners for league 1 level. Truth is this season cannot end quick enough, this squad would steuggle in league 2, next season all depends on what deadwood we can offload and whats left in the budget to strengthen the pathetically weak attack and defence.

Pp wont drop to league 2 and he always has his own team with him so wouldn't be hiring Stuart I don't think.

    Cheers for that
About time we heard something from the powers that be
Be very interesting to know the way forward
Hopefully convert a few undecideds to purchase a season ticket
