    Presumably, the collected ST money was in the season 19/20 budget to pay the wages of the players and staff for the season. The majority have been furloughed with the government picking up the tab so that money should be still there in the club's coffers. The club don't have to magic this money from Rupp, it exists in our accounts.

    I guess it is a strange position. If the EFL introduce a £1.5 million players wage cap, then the club could struggle to use the income it generates.

    A very simple formula of 14,000 Season Ticket holders, paying £150 each, would produce a sum of £2,1 million. Even if that is adjusted downwards, as some will be Under 16 and pay less, that will be counter balanced somewhat with those that Pay on the Day. So a figure of around £2 million.

    On top of that there will be other income streams such as: programmes, club shop merchandise, catering, sponsorship etc.

    Additionally,‘Each League Two club will receive £472,000 as a ‘basic award’ plus a £430,000 ‘solidarity payment’ from the Premier League.

    So it would seem that the club could have a substantial surplus, which they cannot use on transfers.

    As a group, we are considering using the money owed, towards the cost of renewing next seasons ticket.

    Rather give it to my hairdresser.

    Just don't believe Bradford City need it and even if they did then Rupp or Rhodes can dig deep.

    It's not only the NHS staff that have kept this country running. Bin men, shelf stackers, fruit pickers, bakers, delivery drivers. The list goes on.

    This is a clear case of Legality V Morality. Fordy's post here is perfectly correct legally. If for example this was a Spice Girls reunion or Paper Lace Pontins Weekend extravaganza that had been cancelled, the promoters would be inundated with refund requests. But because this is the club we love and support, we are willing to overlook the refund.

    Presumably you will be giving it back when you buy a season ticket ( not at Elland rd) so why not just transfer it towards that

    I won't be applying for a refund. My ST was paid for in good faith, and the club weren't responsible for the fact I missed 5 games of the season.

    I find it weird that people assess whether the club 'deserve' the money or not, but support giving it to charity of course.
