    Never had the need , but I can’t watch live today, anyone know of a simple way of recording the game using ifollow as the platform ?

    Ta Rod , yes that’s my fall back. Trouble is, can I wait that long without accidentally dropping on the score? It takes all the fun away. Life dilemmas these days

    I've not tried it Kevin so can't guarantee but a quick Google gave me this answer;

    You can record the program from iFollow on Windows via the Game Menu (Win + G). However I have not been brave enough to set it going and then walk away...

    Someone also suggested setting it going and then pausing but had various problems so probably not recommended.

    Thanks for the responses all. It looks like Dimitry’s feed and bite the bullet with knowing the score. I stopped being brave enough trying technology years ago as a result of the abacus becoming redundant ! My prediction 2-1 City win! That’s bu*****d it!

    DRM = Digital Rights Management. It's basically a catch-all term for any anti-piracy methods. You know how like back in the day if you took a commercial VHS and tried using two VHS recorders to copy it to a blank tape it would record but the image would be scrambled. That was an analog anti-piracy feature called Macrovision which was built into VHS players and would send a signal out which if another VHS in the chain saw the signal it would scramble the image.

    Now that things are all digital there use way more powerful anti-piracy methods to control what you can do with media because its much easier to copy a digital file. It can limit where you can play something, it can stop it playing if it detects certain software running, it can send out signals that legit software will read and scramble like with Macrovision and it can even poison the hooks so all recording software will only be able to pick up a black square and not the footage


    OBS = Open Broadcaster Software. It allows you to build scenes of things like overlays and video captures and then either stream that out on places like Twitch or record it. Its the software most Twitch streamers use and most YouTubers who are doing letsplay videos will use to capture the gameplay footage (as I did with my Better than Bowyer series)

    Hope the weather holds tomorrow....I promised a job being done today. Paving slabs jetwashing about 150 sq yds. Half a day yesterday and half done! Live footy won , I just couldn’t risk it! He , he.

    Did it look clear as a dive on a bigger screen? I was watching on a phone so was hard to tell but even on the replay it looked a nailed on penalty.

    If it was us , I would be miffed. I think the ref thought he’d seen him acting about already so gave us the benefit of doubt. We don’t have, ( and don’t want) the “benefits” of VAR. The ref said no pen, that’s the end of it.

    i honestly didn’t see it as a dive, however the ref had a direct view , far better than ours, from about 8-10 yards so I’ll take his decision.

    To be honest, I think the ref looked at it and thought. This lot are shite, they got lucky pulling a goal back, havent had another shit on target, so why should I give them a helping hand.
