Brother Eamonn still shows up at the occasional jam session I go to (and hehe sti can't keep time).

This was a regular place to drink and play pool when I was a student, between 1980 & 1984. Served a great pint of Webster's dark mild.
The Tuesday evening jam session moved here (from the Elephant & Castle, Gt Horton Rd) later in the 80s and stayed for several years before moving to the Love Apple bar. -

Noticed the Bingley Tavern on main street was boarded up, went for a drink with an ex-work colleague on a monday night a couple of months ago and it was dead, 4 of us in i think.
Plus the White Lion at Kildwick/Farnhill is shut, a few times a year a visit after a nice long canal walk to work up thirst and hunger.
